My deal breakers are people that hate smokers but have far more disgusting habits like burping, farting, poorly dressed, sloppy, way out of shape and hypocritical. How bout you HollDoll?  [:)]

Wow, Aynne!  I think you nailed my list dead on!  [:D]

But I think people who shit themselves and have to get cleaned up at the host's house they are visiting are also on my list.  [:'(]

Unless they are 3, that is so not cool![:-]

~FR~
Just question.
But reading through the thread, what is wanted or not wanted, seem to me aspects of the perfect mate in which the deal breakers are reminiscent of cupid singles and looking.

Real deal breakers:
expecting a machine to function with very little fuel and purrs like it did the first time it was removed from the box
lack of similar interests: if all it ever is about lifestyle without balance, can't see there being anything else in common other than a playtoy
sense of humor would be a good thing, but not everyone is going to have the same sense of humor
everyone has bad habits of one kind or another, accepting certain habits makes us all human
expecting perfection in everything that is done, it does get frustrating and since no one would ever strike out at their dominant, eventually the result is a lump (even an old becomes beaten after a while, you call them, they run away from you, rather than towards you because they are scared of you, they don't eat and they hardly sleep, the dog either just runs away or just gives up trying to do anything that it is told, what happens to the dog, it gets put down, honestly, I believe the dominant should have been put down, if the bar is set to high, then ever attempt is a failure)

YourhandMyAss -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/8/2009 6:20:36 PM)

I wouldn't expect perfection in everything they did, they just couldn't have certain bad habits or lifestyle situations that I don't want to put up with.

Long standing deal breakers

Dishonesty
Still in love with ex's
No sense of humour

I pass the test on 2 out of 3 if that's any help to you? I'm never dishonest with women and I'm not in love with any ex girlfriends.....not through any ability to transcend human frailty mind you, it's a result of never having a girlfriend because I lack a sense of humour.

Can you make an exception on your number 3 just this once, Coloured?

Death penalty supporters; right-wingers of all ilks; religious (aka: superstitious) freaks; humourless; self-agrandising; little macho men; big girl blouses.

I'm a fairly left wing girl but have dated the occasional Republican.  As long as we can exchange ideas reasonably, it can work.  Of course I have been known to consider a political argument foreplay [;)]

Whoooooooooa....what exactly is so wrong with those of us who live in Georgia?

I just want to know what's wrong with not being licensed to drive and therefore not owning a car?

Ok, I didn't know we were being asked to explain the deal breakers.  I did clarify that the Georgia one was silly.  Georgia has some really ridiculous sexual laws.  The last one I heard about, was that women in Georgia were forbidden from owning a vibrator, but the men can own one.  Unfair as it seems, & silly as it seems, (I know my logic if flawed on this one), I tend to associate people from Georgia with repressed sexuality.  Yes, I know it is a unfair generalization.

As to the driving issue, I really hate driving.  One of us has to.  We have to get to the grocery store, run errands, go out at night once in awhile, and have the means to come see one another.

ForAlways -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/10/2009 5:56:49 AM)

Ooh, I can list a few:

-Liars
-Liars who use others to make themselves out to be something they're not
-The Poly-Ploy (read that as "I'm poly because I want to fuck anyone I want so deal with it" which is why it's a ploy, it's not actually poly)
-CHEATERS (despise them)
-People who use D/s as a way to disguise their "anger issues"

Oh good god I can go on and on....

(Aynne...I know you know of whom I speak! *grin*)

sirsholly -> RE: What are your biggest deal breakers? (1/10/2009 5:59:35 AM)

-people who have to put others down to make themselves look/feel better
