yanno, I was wondering if the CM owners wanted more traffic in the public forums...??? or do they prefer more traffic in the public profiles where the adverts are??

I wonder if the title of the post must be accurate to the issue itself via one keyword that can make an easier way to highlight a topic for mass email.  Since all starter topics are checked by mods eventually anyways, why can they not categorize by one button to send a mass message to all (who have not disabled such device) users?

Good way to get fresh meat/prospective in here.
Email a moderator,
and ask them, I've no clue.

I would guess that for the many who read without posting, it's more about the time and effort involved than not feeling welcome. You can learn a lot just by reading other people's posts. Plus, a lot of people may not feel very adept at writing in general. Kind of like a fear of public speaking, although not quite as extreme.

However, the flames directed at some subs probably discourage a lot of people also. Ask the "wrong question", or in the wrong way, have misspelled words or poor grammar, and you're likely to get attacked.

Sometimes I want to write things or ask questions.  The reason that I don't is because sometimes the responses are mean.

Hello hardbodysub,

If you've read all the responses to this thread,
you would know that the answer you're giving, isn't all true.
There will b a group who will read it like that, but
even read the answer of lilah33
after you.

Some people don't feel safe here,
which is a true shame, because We're all people,
and We should just get allong.

I wish you enough.

Which is a true shame, because you ask something
where We can all learn from.
Anything I can do to change your mind?

Did you really read my entire post? Nothing you just wrote refutes what I said.
