Irish Stew (which, regardless of any suggestion Jonathan Livingston Seagull may have made, does not usually contain the Irish.)

WHEW!  I was getting a bit worried for a second.

Grilled chicken breast with sauteed pasta & greem bleans.  With a little Italian cheese & bacon on.

After reading about chili I was going for that, but I got voted down and it sounds like pizza is on the menu for tonight. Veggie pizza.

It could be, Linea! Just threw in onions, celery, chicken stock, diced turkey, egg noodles, mushroom soup, kernal corn, oregano and a dash of black pepper.

While the Pirate is here, I'm going to make a dish called Kema.

it's got ground beef (lamb is recommended, but finding ground lamb is hard around here..not to mention PRICEY), pearl onions, peas, tomatos, corriander, turmeric, garlic, ginger, curry powder, and indian chili.

*droooool*

Served with either rice or pita bread...

Yep, most definitely a version of I Don't Know, Bear.  The name for this series of dishes came about because I worked at a place where we got paid once a month & the secretary would invariably decide we should have a potluck in the last few days of the month when I was broke.  So one time, I grabbed my crockpot & put some rice & some tomato sauce & a little meat & some herbs & spices in it, brought it to work & plugged it in behind my desk.  It got to smelling pretty yummy & everyone who came by my desk would comment on the wonderful smell & ask me what it was.  I would shrug & say, "I don't know."

Some of the variations include pasta & sour cream or mushroom soup.  It comes out different every time.  When Chelsea would come home from school & ask what was for dinner & I would reply, "I Don't Know" she would get all excited!!  It was cheap & healthy & always delicious!!

Tonight I made Hamburger helper, raspberry vinegar cucumbers, applesauce and left over veggies.
Last night I made steak Dianne, roasted potatoes on top of that in the crockpot, then got all mad cause of we were expecting company that didn't show. Also, the steak diane was good, but when we taste tested it, it was AWESOME. next time it will come out of the crockpot earlier.
(oh, btw - the steak diane recipe came from this FANTASTIC website:
Crockpot Mama
