SweetDommes -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:19:48 PM)

We actually had a boy who did have a car accident.  Rolled it twice - had the photos of his car, the discharge instructions and the scars to prove it.  Things didn't work with him - but car accidents do, indeed, happen while boys are on their way to meet with someone.

BoiJen -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:23:03 PM)

When they volunteer the pictures of the car, the police report, and the discharge papers, then I'll believe them...until then it's just a bullshit line to me...I have a feeling I'm not the only one who feels that way.

boi

SweetDommes -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:23:32 PM)

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's why he brought the evidence with him LOL

BoiJen -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:31:30 PM)

See? That's what counts. The line in and of itself of "I wrecked my car" is just a line...bring the evidence and then there's a consideration that can be made. (Otherwise MsKitty is just gonna go "BUSTED!" like She did the last guy....who got mad when I told him he'd have to prove it.)

PeonForHer -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:42:17 PM)

The most imaginative creature in the universe is the male sub....when he is late or does not show up for a meeting.

Second only to postgrad students who are late with their essays, I'd say.  You get really high quality excuses from them - which is only fitting, when you think about it.  But I bet the imagination of subs who are late or don't turn up might just be matched by that of of femdoms who are asked, by sub males and at a given point during a scene, why they're laughing.

Lynnxz -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:44:08 PM)

Ugh... I got the "My cat got into the peanut butter" once.

o.o

.....really dude?

Actually, that's happened to Me, too.  Literally on My way to pick clip up to go to a munch.  No police report, just a banged up car.

BoiJen -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:51:37 PM)

LadyPact did you already know your chip-clip (with humor here) at the time?

MsK's piggy boi

You know, for us, that woudl be an acceptable excuse - as long as there were pics to back up his claims.  Our critters are our babies, and they must be taken care of first.

Lynnxz -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:55:14 PM)

Is peanut butter bad for cats?

:-/ I did not know. I tempted my first kittah out from under a car with a pbj when I first saw him... now I kinda feel bad.

SweetDommes -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 5:56:45 PM)

Oh, now see, I was imagining cat covered in PB ... I don't know if it would make them sick or not (although in large quantities, much of anything would).  I'm just imagining a cat, covered in PB, with a poor subby boy trying desparately to give the darn thing a bath LOL

YourhandMyAss -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/11/2009 6:37:46 PM)

Well there's a list that's written by a dog on how to bathe a cat, you put soap in the toilet throw the cat in and put the lid down, and the angry cat will agitate the water and clean itself.

I know exactly what you mean...  I have once or twice waited for a call from the hospital telling me  he's broken, and that is the reason he didn't show.   Unfortunately, that's never happened, so I have to agree with you.    That was years ago though.   Nowadays, I can usually tell if someone is going to flake before they do, so that I usually don't even start to get ready until I get a call saying "I'm nearby."

Of course, this goes to show that any freak occurrence one can imagine, has happened to someone or will happen in the future.  [:D] M

Yes, I did.  I think he'd been in My life a few months by that time.  It wasn't like a first meet or anything.  I think I probably skewed the discussion by using that example.

Believe it or not, that car accident and the memories that happened because it transpired are actually good ones for Me.

LadyPact -> RE: Tributes and Genuine Dommes (3/12/2009 6:42:54 AM)

Why do I keep hearing that old Reese's commercial in My head?

You have your cat inside My peanut butter.

Why dont the Dommes get a real job and work for a living.

This discussion is about female dominants who don't list they are Pro-Dommes on their profile then after one or two emails, ask for tribute.  While I am not defending this behavior, and find it dishonest and quite pathetic (if they need to trick potential clients, that speaks volumes to the quality of their services).  However, Kevin, you seem to be criticizing these particular women, who are Pro-Dommes, who by definition work for a living (doing what most on this site do for fun) for lack of work ethic.  In essence, you have contempt for these women because they are working yet your incredibly insightful advice is to get a job.

It's not difficult to weed out the scammers (ie Pro-Dommes masquerading as lifestyle Dommes) and it's been covered many times in this post already so it doesn't need futher commenting.  However, I will say that those who are experiencing a disporportionate amount of scammers are likely aiming a little higher than they can reach.  If you don't meet the physical, intellectual and/or emotional needs of a potential Mistress, don't whine about it when she wants to know what else you're bringing to the table.
