He's also withdrawn one of his economic stimulis plans: $ 3000 dollar tax credit for business for each new hire. I guess he figured out that big business could fire employees today and re hire them tomorrow and get a big ol tax credit.

Part of it has been him putting himself up to these impossible levels to reach. Most Americans will soon see his "Hope and Change " will become what i call "more of the same". Just take a look at some of Obamas appointments. If they were made by Bush the press would be really attacking them. Also remember how the press attacked Bush for the economic down turn that occurred a couple months into office. This was prior to any economic policy that Bush could have put into place.

The problem is not only that Obama is not ready for the job when he takes office. But neither was the previous 2 presidents Clinton and Bush. The dangers this nation faces in the 21st century is no time for someone that requires a learning curve.

I sure as hell did not vote for Obama and truly believe he is not ready for the job. I hope Joe Biden's comment during the primary that "the Presidency is no place for on the job training" is proved to be just another incorrect judgement from a man who has never held a real job.

In a day Obama will be my President Obama. He will be responsible for the future of my family and my country. I do not wish him to fail...far from it... I will join with anyone if we are doing what is right for all of us

My biggest concern for Obama is not attacks from neo-cons like me but from his own party. Pelosi is in a position to ruin any intelligent legislation, continue the waste, pork and agenda driven appropriations of Congress, and already is saying stupid things about taxes contrary to the President-Elect.

Tomorrow is not only the most important day in the life of Barack Obama. It is the most important day for the country since the Declaration of Independence and the declaration of War between the States. God help the man.....I fear his party will not be so helpful.

i think it goes back a bit further.
93 the first WTC attacks.
Or when some groups who later joined and became Al queda supported the Muslims in Somalia...remember black hawk down movie?? that was a true story.
The African embassy bombings attacking US embassy's.....that was al queda.

Clinton did respond to the threat by attacking the SUDANs baby milk factory...and just missing hilll Bin laden by about 12 hours ;)

For some reason I don't think so ;)

Positive energy's??? was any of them given to bush by his critics the past year ;)
Also Bush's supporters with prayer gave him plenty of positive energy. Did that help?

    And like lots of folks ,   I am being directly effected by the economic chaos out  there .  But even with all that - most of us know where our next meals are coming from , and have a roof over us , and our little creature comforts - modest though they may be ( or not ) .   Try to mourn less for what you don't have , and appreciate what you do have .   Some gratitude can change how you see things .

The reason why Obama picked Biden was he knew he needed help regarding foreign policy. It was the same exact thing another inexperience president name Bush did too by picking Cheney. So on 9-11 when Bush froze at the school and communication were cut off with the VP.... how did that decision work?? Biden and Cheney can make those fast decision without a learning curve. However when you need to make a decision in an emergency you are typically not next to the VP to consult with aka hold your hand ;)
