The Current Question is
Why are Noble Gases,(Krypton, Neon, Xenon, Argon, etc.) and Noble metals (such as gold) described as Noble?

dcnovice -> RE: Trivia D vs. s Game III (2/1/2009 1:36:40 PM)

They're very stable?

Novice scored again
Those elements described as noble have "full" valence electron shells, giving them very low chemical reactivity.  They do not mingle with the "common" elements and are hence "Noble"

The Tsar Bomba was the largest nuclear device ever detonated.  The second record is that it had the highest energy output of any device ever made by man.
