Everyone is at least somewhat familiar with the story of Dracula.  Lesser known is the name of the author, so the question is who wrote the original Dracula?

sklavinxandria -> RE: Trivia D vs. s Game III (2/1/2009 1:53:07 PM)

Bram Stoker

magnum powder is used as a coating in finishes

Vaughner -> RE: Trivia D vs. s Game III (2/1/2009 2:03:55 PM)

With both smokeless and Magnum we are referring to firearms gunpowder (just in case I didn't make that clear enough) I am not aware of Magnum gunpowder being used in any form of finishing?  Can you provide a source for your points?

Since we have a lot of players waiting and it does not look like we will get an answer I will go ahead and expire this one early to move the game along.
To explain let's look at Dirty Harry's .44 Magnum, there is also a .44 S&W.  The .44 S&W is identical to the .44 Magnum in all ways, except the pow(d)er of the round itself.  The simple answer is that Magnum Powder is more powerful.  The complicated answer is that actual "Magnum" powder (and not just a Magnum case which is wider like a Wine bottle from which the name is taken) burns slower than smokeless "standard" powder thus building up higher pressure behind the bullet.
