I am so thankful that I got my mum's fabulous genes.... she is 70 and doesn't have a line on her face!!!!  I think having dark skin as well makes it easier to look ok without makeup on so I generally go to work and most other places without makeup, maybe a bit of lipstick and eyeliner if I feel I need a pick me up.

When going out at night I will do the whole bright red lipstick and loads of eyeliner/mascara and I will blow dry my hair.

There is nothing more sexy than a woman that is confident enough to just throw on  a ball cap, wipe the cum off of her face and be ready to face the world as is.

Nothing is more horrid than apparent cosmetic surgery or makeup.  When your neck is a different color than your face you look ridiculous.

I wish I was a homo.  I belong in the company of men.

"Hey, Domi...It's halftime, let's go grab a beer and a blowjob before the game starts back up....Do these boxers make my cock look fat?"

You hit the nail on the head, as far as I'm concerned; my natural morning look is an intimate one. It's like nakedness, not something I want to share with everyone that meets me.

A woman upon awakening is just as sexy as the freshly fucked look. Then again, the completely natural/no make up look is sometimes hot an appropriate as is the made up for the occasion look. You women are blessed, and a blessing, to be able to change your "look" to suit your moods. We men have no such option unless it's when going to a costume party, a kink function or in the dungeon. The only look I don't care for is overly made up ( oops, even that is hot, on occasion )...so, I will amend that to say that the only look I don't care for is the surgically altered one.

Cjan LOVES hisTrashy Women!!!

Now I must admit that I do have a metal fetish that translates into a love of jewelry, it doesnt bother me to go without make up, but I feel undressed without at least one piece of jewelry :).

I am right there with you! I have 37 bracelets on each wrist that never come off, rings in each finger, and my ears are pireced 4 times on each side--My friends laugh that I garden in diamonds! I might not wear makeup, or be sweaty and dusty from riding horses but I am ALWAYS bejeweled!

camille65 -> RE: Natural beauty and why we hide it (1/28/2009 12:36:37 PM)

The only reason I will (most likely) never have any sort of vanity surgery is because I am terrified by surgery itself, I have no problems with people that want to improve how they look but sure it can go too far.

I am nearly always 'natural', my hair air dries and makeup usually means a light lipstick or just chapstick stuff. When I look at women that never go out without serious primping it makes me wonder a bit, would they recognize themselves without it? How do they feel waking up that first time with that special guy and having the makeup all worn off?

Makeup stuff is a bit of a mystery to me I will admit. I think it can be done very well which means it doesn't hide the natural but enhances it.

Don't try and confuse me again, colouredin, we both know that a shag can mean both a hassle and a fuck. Oh, and a carpet... how appropriate [8D] .

It is also a hair style! (which is the meaning I thought you were referring to lol).

Sorry Lynnx, have to correct you on that one. Botox does not ever ever go in the lips. The lips are injected with what are known as "fillers" like Restalyne, or things more permanent like collagen. So if she has trout pout it is not the fault of botox. And a reputable skilled plastic surgeon will tell a patient no more when  they start to look like that. It is these stepford wives that have "botox" parties and get injectables and fillers at malls that look like frozen wax heads. Yes I speak from experience, I have been getting botox twice a year for three years and I LOVE it, love it love it, and yes, my eyebrows move. I go to a board certified plastic surgeon though, not the mall.

And misst, in your original post you said something about a lot of us not being happy with what god gave us, I just want to say that in my case, I love what god gave me, I just want to keep it looking good as long as possible. As far as getting "real" plastic surgery, maybe in the future. I mean I love my boobs, with a good push up bra they look augmented for god sake, but no kids and good genes. However, when I or Master discuss it and he agrees, I see nothing wrong with a little Nip/Tuck. For now though, a few needles to the forehead and crows feet just rocks[;)]  I have just always been one of those chicks that really like being more of a glamazon than a natural girl. Even to the market, full face, cute outfit, heels, and damn straight I will go to my grave with these auburn tresses, I refuse to have a gray hair on my head. Doesn't mean I can't throw on a ball cap and go out on the lake, but I most likely will have on at least lip gloss and waterproof mascara.

Heh, I know a lady who's had so many botox injections she looks alarming.. her lips poke out unnaturally, and her eyebrows look perpetually surprised.

She attributes it to a 'good moisturizer'

Pmsl.
Actually i really should shut up about this as my Sir confessed the other day that he has had botox in the past.

Aynne, you're a sight for sore eyes, there's no question about it :-) .

LaTigresse -> RE: Natural beauty and why we hide it (1/28/2009 1:06:55 PM)

Oh good grief..........no needles are going to get close to my face unless my life depends on it!!!

Or my nose is about to fall off due to some tragic accident.....

I just cannot wrap my mind around injecting anything that isn't medically necessary. I am cool with the inevitable wrinkles I will have.

kiwisub12 -> RE: Natural beauty and why we hide it (1/28/2009 1:08:17 PM)

I tend to think makeup is a big waste of time - and it makes my face feel heavy. Don't laugh!   -    the few times i put on nail polish, i walked around with my finger tips hanging down - they were HEAVY!!!!!!

Since my Sir prefers me au natural, i haven't put on make up in years - and love it. I also don't colour my hair (silver) and wear birkenstocks and long skirts, and (gasp!) don't shave the five hairs on my legs. I might not be a gypsy, but i am a natural woman. [:D]

kittinSol -> RE: Natural beauty and why we hide it (1/28/2009 1:08:17 PM)

What I would love: a way to make myself taller without any pain rofl.

kiwisub12 -> RE: Natural beauty and why we hide it (1/28/2009 1:11:02 PM)

One thing i do use every morning is moisturiser with sunscreen - i went back to New Zealand and saw one of my cousins who is the same age as me - and she looked as if someone had been cutting on her face with a knife-  the wrinkles from the sun were so bad!  I want to be the old lady that everyone comments on how good her skin is.[:)]

I'm not short mumblegrumblemumb, just vertically challenged.

Aynne88 -> RE: Natural beauty and why we hide it (1/28/2009 1:33:51 PM)

In all seriousness LaT, who looks amazing by the way[;)], it really is a ten minute painless procedure. Well...I do *like* pain, lol, but really it isn't that bad. The wrinkles are going to come eventually and when I feel it is at the point that I am losing the battle and throwing money away, then no more. It just makes me feel happy about the way I look, and as a natural redhead I always used sunscreen, so I have nice skin, I just don't want it to go away just yet...I am not in denial, just doing what works for me. For now anyway.

LaTigresse -> RE: Natural beauty and why we hide it (1/28/2009 2:10:00 PM)

Thank you very much. I am just lucky to have good genetics (both of my parents were VERY good looking people), and a mother that was a health food fantatic. I also don't smoke, which I know really affects the skin, especially for women. And am addicted to water.

One of the most awesome women in my young life was into sports for most of her life. Her skin showed her love of the outdoors. I remember her telling me, when I was very young, to take good care of my skin or it would end up looking like hers. That stuck with me. So I've always been careful to shade my face and neck. Now, don't get me wrong, I can see a change in the texture of my skin, neck and most especially on my hands. Just the beginning of that crepe type thing. Which of course grosses me out. But, when I point it out to others they tell me I am imagining things.

We really are our own worst critic.
