FR: I'll give you a quick bachelor recipe for a hamburger steak meal I make all the time. Go get yourself some brown gravy mix. I prefer McCormicks, but you choose. Now make some hamburger patties, and fry them bad boys in a skillet (all my skillets are iron, but use what you got.). After the patties are done, take 'em out. Leave the grease in the pan. Follow the directions on the brown gravy mix, but add it to the hamburger grease. When the gravy starts bubbling, put your hamburger patties back in. Cover it and set the heat to low. Leave it be for about 10 minutes. You can serve this with mashed potatoes, fries, or hashbrowns. I prefer hashbrowns, which are simple to make. Peel some potatoes, grate them, and then fry them in a little bit of oil over medium/medium-high heat. It takes awhile to cook hashbrowns, so be patient. Make sure your heat isn't too high, and stir them constantly. After they're done, add them to the plate and cover them with your gravy. I find that peas make the best accompianment to this meal. Enjoy.
