Fun times! And my favorite gadget play with Randle El throwing the ball to Hines!

Plus IB would cheer for the cowboys but He went for the Steelers any way and We watched it down here.

It was really cool to see that Steeler coach win a championship. He seems like a good guy.

All you Steelers fans, make sure you send in your pledge money. Buying NFL referees is expensive business these days.

There have been times when the Steelers were on the bad end of officiating. I recall the Colts game. It would've been nice if some of the calls were a bit cleaner, but it's over and done. Usually karma has a way of equalizing and what goes around comes around, so I'm sure we'll get ours at some point. At least the Osprey's are hoping for it.

Touche, caitlyn..lmao

To the Steeler fans: Congrats on your shiny new Lombardi Trophy.

I have a Q for the Steeler fans,. noooooo, not about the refs.

I found it very odd that neither Rooney, Cowher, Ward, or Bettis thanked the Steeler fans. I have been a football fan for 28 years and this is the first time I didn't hear, the owner <in particular> say something like:
I want to thank our fans, they are the greatest fans in the league.

It's not a big deal, just somthing I noticed and knowing Steeler fans are some of the most hard core, loyal fans in the league, I thought it was odd that they weren't acknowledged. Rooney said something about taking the trophy home to the fans, but that's all I heard mentioned of them.

Maybe - They have acknowledged the fans and the "Steeler Nation" in the past. Perhaps they were remiss last night, but I heard some interviews with other players and they did mention the fans. It's all good. I enjoyed the Randle El gadget play (YAY) and it's cool that he now has an entry in the Super Bowl record book, as well as Willie Parker.

Ahh, we didn't get the full coverage you guys did, of course. I am glad they did say something. It was just a curiosity question, Katy,I am overly analylitical at times. Just my nature.

The gadget play was the best Steeler play of the game, I knew they would pull one off given the chance, and that was executed perfectly.

Congrats Pitt!

Some of us out here in Seattle have been wondering the same thing. The TV reporters never did see the holding that was called and I think that was the turning point of the game, since instead of a most likely TD the Seahawks were intercepted a few plays later. Also I'm still not convinced that Steeler TD on the line was really a TD, pretty hard to tell. I do agree the Seahwaks didn't play their best but I think overall they outplayed the Steelers, just couldn't score, which is the name of the game. Congrats to all you Steeler Fans!!

The Seahawks have always counted on the fans (12th man) and I'm sure it was very difficult with only 8000 tickets going to the Seahawks.

I knew I liked you IronBear. GO COWBOYS!!!

I watched the game with my foster dad, who played at Texas, and a bunch of other guys that played lots of football. They all thought the game was fixed.

The only good thing about the game, was Tom Brady.

I agree. I thought the game was a lot closer than the score, and the gadget play made a huge difference. Neither offense accomplished very much. And the Seahawks got crushed in the clock battle at the end of the game.

You've got to hand it to the Steelers. I'm still not sure they were the best team in football this year, but they beat every team who might have been better. Can't do much more than that.
