For you perhaps, I'll take Steve Young. I enjoyed the march of the mvp's. Except for the guys who can barely walk.

And the two MVP's who weren't there: Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana. Allegedly, Montana refused to attend because the league wouldn't pay him a $100,000 appearance fee.

I wasn't happy about some of the calls and especially the Steeler TD which was reviewed. For the life of me I couldn't see the ball breakig the plain. Still that's just another day on the office for professional and amature sports. You het all the breaks one day and the same situations work against you the next. For my money i'd have had the winning margin of a one or two points ro the goame into overtime. Wasn't the best game I've seen this seasion but I was backing the steelers just because they do have something which grabs me. My hat's off to both teams.

PS.. Neets and I have a runing battle regarding American Football but I put my foot down when any match, either colledge or NFL is on and it takes priority over all other programs... The real war starts with our football season and we have Queensland playing New South Wales in the state of origin.. Neets is a New South Welshman and I support Queensland so the Malamute has a cover, half Maroon (Queensland) and half Light Blue (New South Wales)......... man O man it is an evening of humourous war.

Sad indeed. I wonder what Terry's excuse was, although it's probably best not to know, he had some hurt feelings upon leaving the Steelers. It was cool to see Franco Harris waving a terrible towel.

Bradshaw has officially stated he wanted to spend more time with his family. ESPN has sugested it was about $$, but he denies it. I lean more toward the bad blood between he and the Steelers org.

My opinion, it was in poor taste on both their parts. Hell, if Brady and Branch could endure the thunderous boos from Steelers fans, the other two could have been there for the cheers. And Brady and Branch were well aware of what type of greeting they would get. That's not even including the boos during the coin toss.

Hey Katy? are you going to the parade ?

I'm sorry, :P But I was always very honest about having no interest in watching the game! Which, is why, I wandered off and did my own thing while you both watched the game.

American football is a painful experience for me. I find it horrid. ;)

Nah, I'm not going to the parade....some people gotta work!

We only boo Brady & Branch because we fear them. lol I don't care for the Pats, but only because they are always trouble for us. Belichick is one of the best coaches ever in the game, just my opinion.

Awww, don't you have cramps or something ? lol

It's funny, I think the NE fans and the Steelers fans react they way they do is because in many ways the teams are similar. Not personel, but how they play the game or approach the game.
Thanx for the props, but it is your time to shine !!!

Talmar - many thanks for helping me hold up this most important thread.
I find it a bit upsetting that some people are focusing on the bad calls and not giving nods to some work well done by the Steelers. It doesn't affect my love. I read that Randle El goes into free agency. I don't know anything about this stuff, so I hope they keep him.

4th paragraph from the bottom talks about Steelers free agents

edited for grammar

Katy, while I agree with you to a point...that the Steelers would have won no matter what...I also know that Seattle played very badly. If they had played up to par, the game would have been much more exciting, ...a nail biter to say the least.
