Are there any other die hard Steeler fans here? I hope The Steelers smash the Colts Sunday. The Steelers will have to play a very physical & mistake free to win.

Dude, no way! My Colts are going to SMASH your Steelers! There is no way in Hades that the Steelers can win against the Colts. It's about that simple, and yes, you can quote me on that come Monday. I'll even, well... buy you a root beer float or something if I'm wrong.

The Colts are simply a great team. They play hard and they're good people, on and off the field. Dungy is a wonderful coach and a wonderful person. They deserve the ring more than any other team out there. And all the Manning hype is completely deserved. He is the best quarterback in the NFL right now. He deserves the attention.

Besides, look what happened to the Steelers last time we played them. I believe it was the very first offensive play of the game when Peyton walked out onto the field, threw his first pass of the game to Marvin Harrison, and Harrison ran an eighty-eight yard touchdown. On the first play. Yeah. Booyah!

Of course, this is all in friendly rivalry, but either way, you're going down!

GO COLTS!

Thanks for checking in, the Colts need ya!
It will be a great game, I wish I were there.
I'd actually lower myself to sitting in a dome to watch this game.

This game is a morality play, with the Colts representing the dark forces of EVIL and the Steelers representing brightness, light and all GOOD things in the world.

The Colts used to be good back in the days of Johnny Unitas, but then they went over to te dark side and snuck out of Baltimore like a pack of rabid dogs. And Peyton Manning chose to attend the Univ of Tennessee whose football program is the moral cesspool in college football -- this proves that Manning has no soul. Although Tony Dungy is a good man, that is not enough to overcome the overwhelming stink in an organization that is otherwise rotten to the core. Plus, they are a bunch of pampered sissies who play in a dome; that isn't even real football but is a perversion of a game that transcends all sport only when it is played in mud, snow, ice or fog.

Meanwhile the Steelers represent all the values of middle America -- blue collar, hard working, and they play in an open air stadium named after America's favorite condiment -- ketsup! They play hard nosed, smash mouth football for a coach with a big jaw who used to be a line backer. They have nicknames like "Big Ben" and "The Bus", and they include players from other cultures like that half Korean wide receiver and the wild Samoan safety with the long hair. And none of them have girlie names like "Peyton".

The big trick the devil is playing in this game is having Indy's uniforms mostly white as if they were the good guys while the Steelers will be in black like bad guys. DON'T BE FOOLED!! Simple fact is that rooting for the Colts is like rooting for Satanism and nothing good can come of it.

LOL. I really did laugh out loud for that one. Ah, but you too, my son, must come over to the dark side eventually. You want me to whip out my light saber? (<cue the Empire music> Dah dah dah dum dum dum dum dum dum) Does this mean my Darth Vader costume doubles as a Colts fan costume? Rock on!

Oh, and by the way, I'm thankful for the RCA Dome. It made the one game I went to this year so much more enjoyable. (Titans vs. Colts... 50 yard line...10th row...woot!) I would have froze my ever loving ass off and been slushily rained on otherwise. Ah well, we're getting a new stadium anyway.

Oh, and I can still be quoted about the Colts kicking the crap out of the Steelers tomorrow. If anyone would like to take me up on my root beer float bet, I'm good for it. Of course, the ice cream might be a tad mushy by the time it gets to you.

ROFLMAO

Another response of the wizards, when faced with a new and unique situation, was to look through their libraries to see if it had ever happened before. This was, Lord Vetinari reflected, a good survival trait. It meant that in times of danger you spent the day sitting very quietly in a building with very thick walls. [The Last Hero]

"Ah," said Granny Weatherwax distantly. "His droit de seigneur."
"Needed a lot of exercise," said Nanny Ogg, staring at the fire.
"But next day he'd send his housekeeper round with a bag of silver and a hamper of stuff for the wedding," said Granny. "Many a couple got a proper start in life thanks to that."
"Ah," agreed Nanny. "One or two individuals, too."
"Every inch a king," said Granny.

Katy, everyone here in the ICU is cheering on the Steelers and waving yellow "terrible isolation gowns" in the air. We've already had one Steeler miracle recovery and the kielbasa (sp?) and sauerkraut is-a- flowing... couldnt help but think of you.
Im just a transplant but I'll say it too, just for you....GO STILLERS!
