And to you cory , you have forgot  to mention Charlie Rangle
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122143394599834065.html?mod=opinion_main_review_and_outlooks

How bout Al Frankin.

The nature of taxes, arcane and complicated, makes a short, persuasive explanation a challenge, says political scientist Steven Schier of Carleton College, meaning doubts could linger. And Franken's tax troubles fit that bill. Among other problems, he just acknowledged paying $70,000 in back taxes and penalties to 17 states where he spoke or made appearances from 2003 to 2006; he blamed his accountant for incorrectly distributing the taxes to states where he lived, New York and Minnesota.

And you are correct , Obama the gift that just keeps on giving!

I sure hope that one day Americans will wake up and ask team barry,  why is it you have not held yourself to the standards you set during the campaign?  " you wont find a lobbiest in my white house" well I guess he is right , we wont find one but 17 of them.
Keep up the good fight there cory. one day you will get some one to wake up and ask WHY!

Damn..you are so right.  Forgot about Wrangle and Franken et al.  Have to get more memory for my puter....can't store all the data on tax evading democrats and my memory is clouded by a couple of sips of wine some nights.

Perhaps you need to make a web site that holds a list of Obama lies and ethics issues.

I would have alot more respect for team barry if he would come out n say , ya know you think you know some one , thats why I nominated dasshole. but now that I know he didnt pay taxes he is GONE.
that I would respect, but did he , NOPE he stands by him.
They have a saying in spanish, it translates to  "tell me who run with , and I will tell you who you are."

Oh, great, they "skewer" Republicans for sometimes not being enough out on the edge of the right wing. But they ignored the serious infractions of the right. They profess to be so "values"-oriented, where were they when Bush was perpetrating all sorts of unethical acts? Not a word about the hiring of unqualified cronies to run important agencies, the creative editing of scientific reports to reflect what the administration wanted to hear, instead of the truth of the scientific research, the list goes on and on. And these aren't issues that have anything to do with political philosophy - it's about integrity.

The hypocrisy here is disgusting. If John McCain had won the election and then appointed these kinds of people to these postitions the uproar in this country would be deafening...not including what certain dems on these boards would be writing.

For the record...I voted for neither of these bastards. We are being raped with our eyes wide open. Without lube.

The Bush tax cuts on cap gains combined with no regs that created the speculation bubble has resulted in Americans are losing their jobs, losing their retirement, losing their house. You think they give a crap about this juvenile bullshit?

Grow up, CW.
The topic is team Barry and his appointee's.

It's precisely because Obama pledged an open and transparent administration that we are seeing the sins of Dems,: whilst I agree that it's not a great thing, at least we know what's going on. The Republicans worked their asses off to conceal their sins. There are just as many, if not more, incidents like this on the GOP side.

Whoever thought it was going to be a smooth ride is living in Cloud Cuckoo Land.

I don't mind people who disagree on political philosophy. But people who blind themselves to everything except what they want to see, who are blatantly and vehemently closed-minded, they're worse than ostriches, whose heads are merely in sand. These people aren't worth having discussions with. It's impossible for them to learn anything, because they only see things that support their already cemented views.

You liberals are forgiving sorts, for your own.  And finding three democrat politicians he wants to put on his administration that have conveniently made mistakes on their tax returns?  I wonder what the odds are.

Psst,he was using sarcasm.....

Ask anyone, they`ll say everyone should pay their taxes. No one likes a cheat.

But cheating with the intent to steal or evade is way different than making a mistake.

Heard an IRS rep on the radio yesterday say that you get like a dozen chances to make good before the ax drops or charges are filed. You really have to be trying,to get a criminal charge filed against you.

They just want the money. He kept saying we don`t want to harm people or put them in jail. But he did say they`ll charge penalties and interests and would make almost any arrangement in good faith to pay the money.

I`m amused at the lather dripping from conservatives over a mistake.Going from what millions of Americans do,mistakes,..and taking that to making a charge that someone is evading.

Seems a little extreme.

A good "manager" would make sure any potential appointee didn't have any tax issues, didn't hire any illegal aliens, didn't have any criminal record, didn't have any charges "pending", had a good credit history, and had a clean background *BEFORE* proposing them for a position in the Administration.
I mean how difficult is that for them to understand?
Remember "Zoe Baird?"

He made a mistake,admitted it,payed the tax.

Seems pretty open to me.

Still waiting for conservatives to explain, defend and square Plamegate for us.

I think treason, rises a bit higher than an innocent mistake.

But if you`re one who thinks that mistakes and criminal acts are all the same thing, then yes.The guy is a vewy bad man.

There,I self-expunged my hypocrisy and wait for straight talk expessers to do the same and explain why so many got away with treason(a hanging offense,in a time of war).

Anyone? Orion, the pretty girl bending over,CW,Firm?

"You conservatives" are forgiving sorts, for your own. What a useful thing to say, aye? I understand your frustration though: after eight years of horrible lies at the hands of Bush, you now understand how it felt, for us . Enjoy the ride: it's going to be a real whirly gig.
