I'm owned and Master did not pick my name. Matter of fact, unless my screen name was "Anyone Come Fuck Me" he doesn't care what name I use. This is just vapor and has no bearing on our real lives.

Oside is short for Oceanside, California where we used to live. Girl is obvious.

Nothing special about mine. I am Irish and Mist happens to be a shortened version of my real name.

Good evening!
   I have had Zechriel for about 15 years, ever sinceI started on the occult path. I use it rather than my birth name and everyone knows me by it in my town. She is one of 72 angels of childbirth and I feel very close to expectant mothers having had 3 kids myself. I often get criticized here for having it capitalized and being owned but I had it before I ever came to this lifestyle. The capital denotes respect and power in my life.
  Daddy calls me baby girl, his lil one, or when he really wants to get my attention..by my real first name-which only my mom does. Having such an extreme difference in what Daddy calls me and Zech allows me to let everything go and be vulnerable with him. He is the only one I let baby me, comfort me, and control me. One of only 3 people I defer to in my life. And he knows it. ::smiles::

I wanted a meaningful nick when I first discovered the net. I wanted it to discribe something meaningful about me.  I always wore a locket with a picture of the son I lost and for days I couldn't find a nick I liked and frustrated I touched the locket as I often did.. and knew my nick.  I just changed it a bit to fit a bdsm site.  I found it rather fitting since I really did like to lock things up and I don't mean chastity!

I needed one to join CM, but couldn't come up with one I liked. I settled on one that emphasized one thing that's important to me in both me and my prospective partner, which is physical fitness and relatively lean body. I still don't like the name, and eventually will have to open a new profile when I come up with one that I do like, because you can't change your name on CM.

Well, I've been called Cowboy since I was young. I was raised on a ranch out west. I grew up riding horse and chasing cows. The cowboys of the American West developed a personal culture of their own, a blend of frontier and Victorian values that even retained vestiges of chivalry and a tradition of self-dependence and individualism. But, it also referred to cowboys that developed a reputation for violence and wild behavior. In my youth, well, I was not a shrinking violet. I also got the nickname in my youth to describe me as someone who was reckless or ignores potential risks in taking on a dangerous task. The MidMich ... hell, I can't help where I've ended up. :)

When I read the story about the goddess Isis, I was in awe.  The story is told, that her husband, Osiris was killed by his brother Seth.  There is much more detail to the story, and various versions, that I have run across, but I'll try to keep it short.  In a fit of rage, Seth took his dead brother, ripped apart his body & scattered it.   Isis began the task of gathering her husbands body pieces & putting him back together, so he could enter the after life.  Her love & devotion to him even after his death touched a part of me.  I put my nic together, so I could always remember the love she found with her man.  It helps to give, even my cynical heart some hope.

I've had this screen name for years. Long before I joined CM. It's just a little wordplay. A take off on the word "cufflinks." (Obviously.) Change one little letter from an "L" to a "K" and it takes on a whole new meaning. My only beef would be when people just glance at it and assume it's "Cufflinks." Unfortunately, it happens often. Read people...read. There's a "K" in there!!!

Luna is the essence of the mysterious, hidden, DARK and moody...Also of the Mother Goddess
Venus is simply the Goddess of LOVE

So a domme would most certainly deal with these Darker perhaps MOODY, mysterious aspects of the Mother Goddess' energy and of LOVE.

I returned home from a Pirates baseball game we pulled out (a rare win indeed!) The thought of Pirates kind of led me to the "shivermetimbers" talk on the post game radio show.  Very lame, I know, but hey, it's better than "idratherbefisted".

The name I wanted was taken so I choose the next best name, because it's my favorite anime character and I like anime. That's what usually fuels me picking names on a site, anime or video games. I have more than one profile here and on fetlife but only the "dominant female" profile is non-anime related, ie it has the title Princess in it (here, Princesa) but meh. My main account is this one. I don't need fancy scene names. And anyone who thinks they can try and "own" me and tell me to change my name can kiss my ass after I fart.

My Master didn't give me this name, but I also have used it on other sites for far longer then I have known Him. It comes from Babylon 5 and is the name of the Minbari (one of the race of aliens) rebirth ceremony. It is used to commemorate a great change that is taking place or is about to occur. Everyone who participates must give up something very important to them and tell someone one of their deepest secrets that they have never told anyone before. It also doubles as a marriage ceremony.

As for why I chose it, the concept of rebirth whether personal or on a larger cosmic scale is one I have always found quite interesting. I happened to enjoy the TV series and the interpretations of it one could take, not to mention it provided so many unique words to use for screen names so I could use one name and be fairly certain that it wouldn't be taken.

Mine is pretty straight up.  Nobody owns me, lol.  My husband (may he rest in peace) always called me a force of nature and a force to be reckoned with.  At work they call me only when there is trouble to be fixed.  I put no thought into my nick what so ever, lol.

I just use their real names.Already have problems remembering names....so I don;t want my slave/sub have a real name and a slave name.Not into role playing anyway :P so the real name is fine .
