First off, I don't recall the brand name of the coffee maker, but ours grinds the beans fresh just prior to making the coffee. My preference is Starbucks whole bean "espresso roast". No, we don't make it as espresso, just as serious coffee, plus I don't want anything in my coffee but coffee. I've tried many of the other brands and they just don't have that rich flavor. The Eight O'clock just tastes funny to me and I'm not even going to consider a coffee named Dunkin Donuts. Millstone always seems weak to me, but will do in a pinch. I won't even consider most of the popular mainstream coffees, Folgers, Maxwell House, etc. . As an FYI, I have never had coffee from an actual Starbucks, so their chain of stores had nothing to do with my choice. Actually, I rarely have coffee anywhere but home, with the exception of when eating breakfast out, and that usually at a Cracker Barrel. Their coffee is ok, but just OK. As for Tea, Earl Grey or Green Tea would be my choice if it's hot. Iced tea, I prefer a blend of Earl Grey, Rose tea and plain ole Liptons (I think; "twice happy" would know the actual recipe) . Oh, and I guess I'm not welcome in the south because if someone puts sugar in MY ice tea, they just ruined it and I'll promptly throw it out.

I either drink my coffee black... or with whipped cream and whiskey. :-/

I do want to get one of those Senseo coffee makers, as they look easy to clean up.. and no coffee pot!

I think (after a scan) you are are the only person to mention Instant. See I drink instant daily but its not my favorite, I like really dark coffee with nutmeg, ciniman and a little milk but its so explensive so I settle for (supermarket own brand) of golden instant. Terrible really.

T**cos finest colombian from an insulated cafeteire (I like my coffee steaming), single cream and a touch of sugar just to add to the chocolatey taste of the roast.

I don't smoke or drink or do anything (with one glaring exception[;)]!!) that mother wouldn't approve of and this particular evening ritual is my one indulgence. Mmmmmmm.

I drink it black, and have a fondness for dark roast. I recently fell in love with the aptly-named Folger's Black Silk (dark and rich but smooth as silk with no hint of bitterness). It's reasonably-priced too. Of course, I'm enjoying the can I just opened fresh this morning (nothing beter than a fresh cup of extremely fresh coffee).

I also drink Folger's Black Silk. I'm on an extremely tight budget, so I use coupons when I can find them, and I buy it in the biggest quantity I can find.

Mentioning, who stores their coffee in the freezer?

I drink my coffee with sugar and dairy-free powdered creamer. I brew my coffee in a meek Mr. Coffee 4-cup coffee pot. I have black pedestal-style coffee mugs at home--I don't drink coffee at work. Not much coffee goes to waste because I make almost exactly what I drink. On Saturdays or when I really need a kick in the ass to get going, I bring out my mondo 8 year-old Hard Rock Cafe coffee mug that holds twice as much coffee as my other mugs.

Im the only one in the family that drinks coffee, all the others are traditional tea (tetleys) by gum. When I was single I drank Nescafe gold blend*yes another instant* with coffeemate, (cos it was fast cheap and I had no place to put a fridge)
Then I got my first coffee pot and tried lots of different stuff  but evetually went back to nescafe,now I usually drink nescafe, double dose in hot milk with lots of sugar.
Now I keep Tim Hortons in the freezer, and they do an awesome caramel cappucinno mix tooo,yummy, but thats for decadent days.

I'm a Dunkin fan and have been for years. It's the only coffee I'll get when I'm out and I buy it's original ground for making at home. Light and sweet please, using light cream and sugar in the raw.

I am a coffee WHORE----always fresh ground every morning, I realy like the ones from World Market ( Island Blend or Kona) or I have one from Archer Farms that is a breakfast blend--the only coffee that I keep already ground is My beloved coffee and chickory from New Orleans. Good coffee is one place I don't scrimp.
 
I quite frankly don't get that test as those coffees to Me taste like river water. [:'(]

I really don't understand this love of chicory in coffee.  Chicory is something that has historically been cut with coffee to stretch it during tough times or lack of supply.  It's also something coffee sellers used to cut with coffee to make more profit.  I just find it odd that some folks consider it a delicacy and will pay extra for it.  It's like buying watered down whiskey.

Have you ever tasted it? Its more like adding a dash of white lightening to whiskey---it adds a bitter taste that when made fresh with scalded milk is marvelous--so there is no watering to it. It was what the Indians and the Acadians used for coffee before coffee beans arrived in the US, and for Me, it is a part of home. [;)]

Yep, I've had it.  You don't have to go to New Orleans to get it, it grows wild everywhere.  My grandmother said they used to cut it with coffee during WWII because of rationing.  It's native to Europe, it didn't come here until it was brought by the Spanish.  It's what Confederate soldiers drank a lot of because they couldn't get coffee due to blockades.  It doesn't have any caffeine in it; it really is like watering it down. 

If you like it, I understand.  A lot of folks think my love for sassafrass tea is strange.  You like what you like.

I prefer:  Dunkin Donuts, Eight o'Clock, or Starbucks.  I buy whole bean and grind as needed.  I make lattes at home, I like a little bit of coffee with my steamed milk!  When I'm in the mood for sweet I add a little amaretto syrup.

I adore coffee! Tea........not so much so.

Hate Starbucks, can't stand much of any of the donut place stuff, or McD's. All of them are too watery and bleck.

Most good italian restaurants have good coffee. If it is straight coffee I am drinking then I want it freshly ground, and black. I keep the Folgers black silk stuff at the farm for regular people, yes in the freezer. That is what Generic Dude drinks, even though he whines and cuts it with tap water.

But MY coffee is special and wonnnnnnnnnnderful! Only French Market coffee and chicory, City Roast for me. Either cold brewed or through my french press. I prefer cold brewed but that takes time and sometimes I forget. I steam the milk and mix it about 1/3 - 2/3 or half and half, depending on the morning.

I do have 3 matching, special cups and woe to the person that tries to use one of them. Perfect size, shape, handle, weight...and pretty. Generic dude used the 4th one once, left it in the car and broke it carrying it in. He paid dearly for that faux paux and hasn't touched one, except to wash it, since.

Chicory, well, I drink Camp sometimes, when I am in a milky mood, it is chicory and coffee essence, a very old drinking mixture I often keep for making iced coffee in the summer. It is also quite nice as a mixer with whiskey.
