Seems to me there are three points here.

First, there's a wide variety of physical impact, depending on what you use and how you use it. As a toy geek I could could go on for hours, or at least until everyone is asleep.

Second point, already raised, is it depends on who is receiving. I have toys that send some people running for the corner, and just bring a smile to the face of major pain sluts. There's much to be said for experimenting to find out what's ouchy and what's yummy for you.

Third, here's my question. You seem to suppose that punishment is the only reason for using a toy...or do I infer too much? It's already been said, but my disappointment seems to be the most effective punishment, so I try to deal that out in very small doses. If I have a regular relationship where physical correction or discipline is part of the deal, I find out what that particular person can just tolerate, but isn't crazy about, and that's the corrective device. However, most of the time I top people who otherwise are good friends. The play is about giving and receiving both power and sensation, not about punishment. So, I'd suggest another point: it also depends on the relationship.

If it is pain and not punishment we are talking about, the worst item I have is a rubber hose, it is actually a fan belt cut in middle, I havent found a sub who can take more than 3 whacks at a time. Not only does it hurt, it almost immediately brings tears, but it leaves a red/purple mark that is very deep. It requires a huge warm-up of the area first, in order to aclimatize the area. This is not for beginners, because you can go to far to quick. It is more than a few steps up from a cane.

Well have you considerd the best pain comes from the slave or subbie themselves. Anyone with Martial Arts interest will know even the SAS use The good old Horse riding stance.

Have the person squat at 90 degrees feet facing forward, knees bent as if sat on a imaginary chair. Both feet should be just over double the shoulder width apart. Will start to hurt after 10 mins but if they are able to take it then increase the standing time. To up the discomfort more place two weighted items in their hands and have them hold their arms straight out with the weights in their palms.

Do enjoy but be safe , be , happy and as the Dominant we also have a duty of care for our loved ones ....

hello well i'm new to the lifestyle ...been with Master little over a year now but i love the dragons tail and the feeling He gives me when i'm being punished, the submissive feelings i have when e speaks down to me and the power and total control He has over me is awesome just love that most. did i answer the question correctly ?

I am in the planning stage of designing a Gorean Five Bladed Slave whip which will be made from sole, or heavy harness leather. It will hurt like hell when used and is not destined for play use ever. A slave can expect three strokes on each shoulder and four across her arse (the final one being full strength). However my normal tools for punishment are “the Look of Disfavour” and the “Dreaded Corner”.

Some implements after a while will loose their appeal because so many starts to enjoy the intense pain inflicted upon them. They eventual become pain sluts and with each experience they may loose the effectiveness. I am working with a girl who hated the belt but after she experience she enjoy the way it feels. Now what she dislikes now is wooden ping pong paddles. I think the most intense painful device is the switch since it will sound through the air and the sound along the sting will affect you not only physical but psychological because you can hear it coming when you are blindfold. The switch can leave welts if done correctly and if you get them green. I know from my own memories being punished the switch was the prefer form of punishment and it was up to you top retrieve it from the willow Tree yourself. Getting your own device doe more to you psychologically and feeling it as it you hear it swooshing through the air then feeling the sting of it that is why I feel it is more painful then the rattan cane.

The most painful punishment for my slave is: "you have disappointed me!" I do not use my toys to punish. Why use something they enjoy to punish them?

Thumbtacks in my nipples............extremely painful......but heavenly,especially when my Master does a machine gun approach...placing many of them on a table,with the tips facing upward, he pulls my breasts down onto the table and then pushes them onto the tacks,nice and hard ......thus my tits basically become a pin cushion.........he then takes me anally, all the while pushing and pulling the thumbtacks, in and out. You have posted nipple torture/pain in another thread...i'm curious, is this an actual punishment...which is the subject of this particular thread? Sounds to me it is something you enjoy, in which case it would not be punishment.

Was just responding to "what was most painful".........but you are correct...this is not punishment for me at all.......but it has been the most painful experience.......

That depends greatly on the person receiving the sensation. As a general rule though, if a tool is stiff rather than pliable, it has a harder impact. Some people
are exceptionally afraid of needles, nipple torture, speculums, enemas,
dildoes, electrical devices, etc. Fear is the best way to up the intensity of
the pain. Humiliation is a close second. Forced viewing of several hours
of late night infomercials is a distant third.

I have heard that a cane is extreemely painful, but is it really the worst?

Canes are usually harder and cause a stronger impact, but a single-tail
whip in the hands of an experienced person is excruciating.

the most painful thing ever done to me was by my first Master. let me just say to start off, i am a pain whore. let me also say this....when pain is administered with intention to correct behavioral patterns or when my Master is/was upset, it is taken more seriously by me and in no way could i ever bring myself to enjoy His displeasure. I was made to stand exactly tw feet from Him the entire day, i was shackled. If i spoke, or breathed too loudly, or moved, or even brushed against him, i was punished. The first offense, i started to talk, he took me out of the shackles and placed my wrists in cuffs extended from the beam. Second offense, the chain was pulled to raise those cuffs, so i had to stand up taller, third offense i was on my tiptoes. i didn't even move or wobble for fear of being hoisted off my feet. Make a slave muscle sore and the lesson will last longer than a stinging pain.

PS Tens units tend to be incredibly painful
