My boys call a hairbrush or paddle a reward so wouldn't work. I prefer corner time with a quarter.They have to hold a quarter up on a narrow surface with their nose while standing at a 45 degree angle. They have to keep their knees unlocked so that they don't pass out. Really kind of lovely and frustrating because each movement has consequences. If they lock thair knees to brace against the wall they pass out. If they sway and lean back so as to not lock their knees then the nose comes off the quarter and time starts over.

For sheer evil pain I'd say a fiberglass curtain rod.

I like on their knees without kneepads on the hardwood. Arms straight out with a 1 gallon jug in each hand. This with a blindfold usually has them in tears begging forgiveness in no time.

Adding rice to the floor to kneel on adds to the pain.

i hear Dominants say they wouldn't use a "toy" to inflict punishment because the submissive/slave might enjoy it. i have to say, there is nothing enjoyable when my Master is unhappy with me. He could use the lightest tool in the world on me, and i would still be upset.
