Right, its much more important for two people in a relationship to appreciate books, movies, sports, current events etc. If you have that and a service relationship, I think you can get by or maybe even thrive without sex (assuming you can be poly.) But service without sex, S&M, or personal connection sounds dreary and doomed. Only a sub with low self esteem would use this as his lead seduction card. For whatever reason I like to think of women with William Hurt's character from the Big Chill. After an accident, he couldn't have sex any more, and somehow that actually made him more interesting to the opposite sex. (And it was not because of his janitorial skills, either.)
