FR: I think most of the advice given to the OP is dead on, both in terms of suggesting she not vest too much in an online communication and in terms of telling her to scratch the "asshat" off and move on. SB, did someone pee in your oatmeal? Blaming the O.P. and calling her immature? WTF, as the vaunted "teen ager" might say. But I digress. I wanted to add that this sort of online snarky behavior isn't limited to so-called Dominant men, either. Recently my little girl received an email from a woman on CM claiming to have received a note from me. I have never written to this person, and do not "know" them in any way. The counterfeit note borrowed from my profile. In the note I supposedly made inquiries as to the "sub's" availability and disparaged my girl. I have at times written hello notes to people on CM; I have NEVER disparaged my little one. Fortunately our bond is strong enough that my girl brought it to me curiously but not upset, and we trashed it. Confirming two things: on the Internet, with anonymity, people will do anything and asshats come in all genders. E.

"When you wake up, Pooh," said Piglet, "what's the first thing you say?" "What's for breakfast? What do you say, Piglet?" "I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" Pooh nodded thoughtfully. "It's the same thing," he said.
