Afternoon Ladies,

I come to ask you all a question about body image. I am a younger Mistress and a mother of a beautiful 10 month old baby boy. Now my question is, Does anyone have any tricks or good items they use to hide the unwanted left-over baby fat?
The reason I ask is Im having issues now when it comes to dressing up, wearing those sexy things and well showing my belly in any way.
I dropped all the weight but te belly has yet to go away and I just want to have my sexy feeling back when I get all Dolled up for the night.

Any ideas and comments would be great.

Thanks!

LadyJenasighd.

One word:  CORSET

Get a real one with laces, not one of those zip up things.  Super sexy and designed for exactly the purpose you want.  Wear it on the outside with a skirt or leggings or underneath your favorite dress to give you the perfect shape.  Fair warning though -- getting into a corset is not something you can do alone.  You *will* need someone to help you tighten the laces.  If you're going out, put the corset on last or as the next to last thing.  You won't be able to bend over to put on hose or tie your shoes once you're wearing it.

A quality, steel boned, underbust corset :) With any fetishwear, dresses, catsuit, skirt- top/blouse etc.

Umm . . .  I fear I'm severely underqualified to comment - but isn't there such a thing as a glamorous corset?

Hell, I don't even know what they're called . . . Basques?

PeonForHer -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 1:54:00 PM)

Excellent.  I got that right then.  For what it's worth - I think those corsets look great.

Silk or lace wraps/robe type things.

I have had a body image issue since Christmas and the sweet candy someone kept bringing me and a thyroid thing flaring up at the same time.  Round is not my favorite self discription, but it is becoming an issue for me.  I'm going shopping Friday so I can find a wrap or two, until I can get the right medication. lol  The problem is... it is typically us that has the problem with it, not our partner.

I make corsets.

They can be as glamorous as you like, most modern wedding dresses consist of an inbuilt corset so it isnt even as if they need to say anything about your life style.  Custom made will insure that the corset covers or holds where you want it and fits correctly. Anything that doesnt fit will only end up feeling uncomfy. and eventually not get worn. Self lacing is not that hard once you know how, either.

Spanx. They rock. Put them on under a tight dress, and you look amazing. No they aren't for sexy playtime, but for holding you in sleek and sexy while out, I swear by them. They make them for pants, skirts, even a thong one. Love them. [:)]  P.S. You look great for having a ten month old!

Also, walking will help the tummy stuff disappear.

Thanks Aynne88, Ive been working my ass off to get back into shape. Now Ive heard of these Spanx, but have never seen them in stores, but I also never have looked. Do you know any stores in Ontario that would carry them. They seem like they would work for casual wear.

Thanks for the reply.

came4U -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 2:18:18 PM)

I had 4, first 3 were 11 (or less) months apart so by the time I was knocked up again, I had lost my belly by the 6week checkup.  Being busy does that lol.  But, I agree those Spankx things were shown on Oprah few years back and they look awesome for disguising lumpiness without having bulging either.  I just wouldn't endorse wearing them for the first 3 months after delivery when one is still tender and the uterus is healing.  I don't think squishing oneself allows for the uterus to fall back into shape naturally.  Spanx are the modern day Corsets.

Lynnxz -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 2:34:42 PM)

I use a corset when I'm feeling more fatty than usual. Underbust seems to fit better than the full corsets. It wasn't that expensive, maybe 100 bucks, but it fits way better than some of my more expensive ones, so try on a few before you buy.

I've also learned the trick of tying myself into the corse.t... it took a while though. [>:]

FullfigRIMAAM1 -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 3:22:09 PM)

Use your belly muscles often; hold your belly in as often as you can remember, and sit ups might be helpful, though I rarely avail myself of those. [8D]

I don't like tight clothes/corsets, unless I'm dressing up for a fetish affair, which only happens about once a year, but I do hear they work.   M

Hi LadyJenasighd,

I have only ordered them online, I live in a small town that does not carry them either, and I hate going to the mall. I like the power panty the best and their fishnets tights are great too.
IMO they run true to size, like order whatever size you normally wear and since they are seamless *really! there is none of that ugly red mark when you take them off and they are super comfy.

Overall aerobic exercise and watching your diet, but also have yourself checked to see if the rectus abdominus has separated. In many women who carry a child, this happens, and if it has, no matter how many sit-ups you do or how much weight you lose, you'll have sag in your belly...that has to be repaired surgically.

To cover, find things that drape, and I recommend a custom-made corset in whatever style you prefer. You do move and sit differently in them, but they are very very sexy.

youngsubgeoff -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 4:42:37 PM)

you women, honestly... Ok, so you have a little baby fat. Big deal. The best guys are NOT gonna care as long as they see your personality.

OneMoreWaste -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 5:22:21 PM)

I've seen Spanx at a "plus size" store called Catherine's- I don't know if they have them in Canada, or if they'd have them in your size, however.
Personally I like the way they look, but I'm a perv.
And self-lacing is easy if the corset is laced correctly, as long as you have good flexibility in your arms. You'll definitely want a "BOOTS FIRST, THEN CORSET" sign for your fetish wardobe, though

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Body Image. (2/18/2009 5:33:46 PM)

I find that Spanx create odd bulges, and generally make me look worse...   is your issue loose muscles, or loose SKIN?  The muscles, time and exercise...

I do want to warn you  about corsets---they RESHAPE your body, they do not squash you in the way a girdle does.  The tummy will be there, only lower, and flatter!  Your back will feel phenomenal, though!

Congratulations on your new baby!  [:)]

No no, you put the corset on, and then when you're ready to walk out the door you lie on your back with your feet in the air and do your boots that way. [8|]

I must look like a upset beetle.
