as for the way Rules work in this house, there is no set list, nothing spoken or written that states clearly and authoritatively: this is what will be. instead, we have a more natural approach. over time i am expected to learn his rules and take them to my heart. i certainly know what is and is not permitted, what is expected and demanded of me, etc. and i understand that there will be consequences to pay if i break any of these rules. i also understand that any of his rules may change at any time, but he will let me know. but we don't do lists and such, he just expects me to listen to him, learn him, know him and accept his ways.

rule number 1) I am always right 2) see rule number 1 Ok someone had to say it, Rules are in place for one reason. They are a defining deal breaker. Mine were always very simple but I have been stupidly lucky in my girls. Don't lie; it is a deal breaker Don't ague; ever pulic or private talk yes argue never If you leave don't get to comeback. Thats all of them. There is a long list of my preferences but that is a different question.

I have a sub in training and we dont have rules, I do however have a list of guidlines for her so that she has a framework, she needs structure for her life. We all have rules in life, like driving a car, you practice driving get some instruction and have rules / guidlines to follow so you can obtain a licence. When you have your licence do you abide by the rules? hell no, but if you get caught - do the crime do the time - My subs guidlines are for her to practice and perfect so she can move from trainee to collared sub, she will then have a licence and as stated above should she do the crime - she will do the time.
