I completely agree with you: it's fucked up beyond belief to equate the use of the bogs with drinking a cup of tea or munching on a sandwich. Absolutely monstrous: I wish nothing but urinary track problems to the chairman of Ryanair.

Or wear diapers, or hold it as long as possible.

Somehow I just don't equate toilets to "frills". If you are hungry you have the option of buying airline food or bringing your own... that to me is a frill. But what if you need to pee? it's not like you have any option other than visiting the toilet...... well unless you just let it go into the seat :P

Note: they haven't done it yet. But if they start charging passengers for using the lavatory, expect riots on the planes. Me, I would probably boycott the airline in question: fuck the low fare. I don't take kindly to blackmail, and being a hostage to a plane crew never figured on my list of fantasies.

Well, it seems the AB/DL's will have their day afterall...

It makes one wonder: Will they install facilities for diaper-changes then? The only other thing it seems they could do is fine the passengers if they change their sons or daughter's diapers during the trip (or force them to pay up so they could change their children (or themselves) in their crude facilities).

I can't wait to see how all this works out, maybe the airlines will have to convert to plastic chairs after they get enough complaints from passengers about their "soggy seats"

[:D]

Which should make future travel on Ryanair interesting, to say the least, because I'm sure more than a few will avail themselves of that option.

But hey, you get what you pay for.
