Now Rush Limabugh also was nominated for the very same Nobel Prize that Al Gore won.  It was just politics that allowed Al Gore to beat Rush Limbaugh.

He was?....I had no idea....for doing what?

you might have missed the 2004 DNC convention ;)
you dont sit where Michael Moore sat if your not a leader of the party.  Rush never sat there at republican conventions ;)

Moore was a high-profile guest at the 2004 Democratic National Convention, prominently seated in a box with former President Jimmy Carter and his wife.[/QUOTE]

Big differences between Michael Moore and Rush Limbaugh.

For one thing, Moore's opinions are pretty mainstream.  Rush's aren't.  Before you go all nuts and say Moore is faaaaaaaaaaaar left, what is really far left about Moore?  He was against the Iraq war.  So are most Americans.  Moore is much more mainstream than Limbaugh.

The media likes to lie, though, and claim Moore is waaaaaaaaaay to the left.

The Landmark Legal Foundation nominated him.  They could nominate me if they wanted to.....it was actually a letter to the Nobel Institute that they publicized.  A "Write-in", if you will.[8|]  Anyone can nominate anyone....but the actual people in charge of handing out Nobel prizes don't consider every "nomination" valid.  It's something like those folks that fill in "Jedi" under the religion question in the Census.

Yessir, that could even be said about Al ("Missed it by THAT much") Bore himself.

I see.

So a former Vice-President who has dedicated himself to environmental causes, winning a Nobel Prize in the process, can be equated to ratings-grabbing, money-hungry low-life like Stern and Limbaugh.

Don't know much about Stern; what little I do makes me accept him as sincere.
I believe Rush to be totally sincere.
Not sure if Gore believes the crap he spouts or not; but it's an undeniable truth that he has made a lotta money spouting it.
Are you aware that Mars is getting warmer at about the same rate as Earth?
Carbon dioxide is plant food.

Mars is getting warmer because it's more inclined to the sun right now (it precesses around it's axis, like a gyro).

It may be plant food, but it's not good for oceans (shifts the pH, not good fer plants or beasts!)

http://www.photius.com/rankings/healthranks.html

World Health Organization ranks Cuba 39, and the USA just two places ahead at 37.

So if Cuba is doing something wrong, so is the USA.

I would gather at that time psychologically Rush viewed what he was doing differently than a drug addict.
Most people view druggies as the people getting high at party’s.  Not using a Dr prescribed pill.

With the exception of morpheme i personally never knew of any other drugs that doctors would give which were addictive.      Being given something by a Dr and it makes you a drug addict. I have a degree of sympathy for those who got hooked that way.  The same way if someone tied a personup and forced them to use coke and they got hooked.  There addiction didnt start from there free will like most addicts.

Bullshit!

No matter where it started he ILLEGALLY obtained drugs.

This from someone who made an issue of illegal drug use to boost his career is the epitome of hypocrisy.

I'm not going to pretend to be a scientist, but it is my understanding that:
A. Mars is, according to some astrophysicists, warming at the same rate the Earth is, after adjusting for seasonal and other factors.
B. The sun is warming.
C. There is growing dissent concerning not just the cause of "global warming" but whether the phenomenon even is happening.
D. Leading that dissent are astrophysicists- real scientists.

It is not my understanding but an historical fact that the Spanish successfully grew oranges in what is now Savannah Georgia for decades; that cannot be done today. That is to say: Savannah Georgia was warmer in the 16th century than it is today. Regardless of what AlBore preaches (and that's what he is, imo: High Priest of the Church of the Deification of Earth and Official Prophet of the Doctrine of Global  Warming) regarding carbon dioxide being "good for" the ocean the facts remain that it is not just plant food on land but a necessity for life on Earth.

What percentage of carbon dioxide on Earth is not manmade, do you suppose? Half? Three-fourths?

Is that what is causing the climate change on Jupiter, too?  It's really amazing how climate change on Earth is all about what humans are doing, and climate change elsewhere in the solar system, at the same time, is pure coincidence and totally unrelated...

If AL Gore wasn’t a democrat and the former V P of the United States would he win the Nobel prize for a political video with so many errors in it ?  How different is it then let’s say ABCs path to 9-11 movie...path to 9-11 had far fewer errors in it.  funny thing is alot of what the democrats cried about the abc movie could be proven true ;)

35 Inconvenient Truths: The errors in Al Gore’s movie

Written by Christopher Monckton of Brenchley    Friday, 19 October 2007

A spokesman for Al Gore has issued a questionable response to the news that in October 2007 the High Court in London had identified nine “errors” in his movie An Inconvenient Truth. The judge had stated that, if the UK Government had not agreed to send to every secondary school in England a corrected guidance note making clear the mainstream scientific position on these nine “errors”, he would have made a finding that the Government’s distribution of the film and the first draft of the guidance note earlier in 2007 to all English secondary schools had been an unlawful contravention of an Act of Parliament prohibiting the political indoctrination of children.

ask anybody who has ever escaped that hell.  Tourists are given the same health care as the elites not the average citizen.  Thats why the ratings are off.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TD7mLp9j-3k

his video was filmed inside the 10 de Octubre Hospital (formerly known as "La Dependiente") in Havana, Cuba. This is a hospital for regular Cubans, very different from those hospitals for foreigners and tourists where regular Cubans are not allowed.

Dr. Ferrer, a well known dissident and human rights activist in Cuba, explains everything that is wrong with Cuba's health care. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nEcuILQz54  (In Spanish)

The 20/20 program about healthcare in Cuba is now on YouTube
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o-8TcpOz6A4

Moore sat down with "20/20's" John Stossel and talked about that claim. When asked whether it really was an average hospital, Moore said, "Yes." "This isn't just me saying this, you know. All the world health organizations or whatever have confirmed that if there's one thing they do right in Cuba, it's health care," Moore said. "And there's very little debate about that." In fact, there is plenty of debate. Miami-based Cuban Human Rights activist Jose Carro says Moore's movie paints an inaccurate picture.
