No extreme colour, not only Manic Panic will work well on dark, or even lighter, undamaged hair. If you want it to be strong, bleaching it first is the only way to go.
While I keep my hair as it is, my UMs have used Manic Panic with great results.

Oh yes. A friend of mine had hers done a similar colour. The men were almost breaking their necks as she walked by them. Thumbs up!
