Sorry for my post to Phonixrizing; I hope you understand I am not Hi-Jacking anyone's thread. My 'media' may have been excessive, and I do apologize.

And btw...i have yet to meet someone who is a ...nobody.

I second that, Phoenix.

I'm honestly not hijacking this thread, however, I was under the impression that the Off Top Discussion is where you can post things that doesn't necessarily have anything to do with BDSM or D/s.  Well guess what?  Someone was sympathetic as an actual human being lost their life.  They posted about it as it affected them.  Regardless of someones fame or lack thereof, you can have emotions regarding the loss of a life.

I know I won't meet the majority of the people posting on this board or on Collarme in real life.  However, last year my little brother died unexpectedly from a brain aneurysm and I mentioned his passing (no, I didn't start a topic about it but I would have been well within my rights to do so).  I received kind words, prayers, etc. from people who don't know me, however, they felt my pain.

I find it offensive to be labeled as "stargazing" or whatever was stated because I'm human enough to feel pain and compassion for Natasha's family, especially as I can relate; my little brother wasn't famous, but he was the world to me.  I'm sure that very statement has been made by Natasha's family.

Hmm....where is LuckyAlbatross?  I'm sure she can probably locate a thread regarding 09/11 and the outpouring of sympathy.

To Moderator Sixteen....not bitching, just keeping it real.
