quote:
Who told you that There has been a series of articles about the porn industry in the New York Times, the LA Times brings this up now and again, I had friends (producers) in the porn industry in Europe, while I was active in the theatre there, a good friend of mine is an editor with a sex magazine, I have produced "alternative" theatre plays myself, and many of the porn actors that work for kink.com have a presence on their forums (it is one of the requirements for being hired as an actor or actress there, they even do live sessions with online customer interaction), where they talk about their work, and answer questions. There is, additionally, now some published medical research on the effects of overdosing on Viagra, if I recall at least two doctors on the left coast have been censured for overprescribing Viagra, which is how it ended up in the press, and some of the production excesses were made public. But even of there was none of the above - this is an industry, they make money there, the notion that middle aged males are employed by porn producers because they like to bop young women is a joke, that isn't how you make money. If your customers only get new stuff once a month, they'll go to other places where there are more frequent updates, the porn consumer is insatiable. As I said elsewhere - you can fake just about anything, but not an erection.
