Hmm... I'd say no response is a response. I don't know what you wrote, if you maybe spent a lot of time reading the person's profile and then writing a nice message, or if it was just a message you wrote because of some nice picture or something.
Just that someone doesn't reply doesn't mean that someone is rude. Sometimes I get a lot of messages, mostly from Doms and to be honest, if it doesn't interest me, mostly I don't bother to reply, even in my limited time here there have been too many people who turned anything I said against me. (And I wouldn't consider myself a wannabe sub)

So I'd say, don't write a topic to complain about it, but just move on - though what I am wondering, is this something you only expect from subs or from anyone you message, even vanilla people?

No offense intended, but I have found that some people do not understand how the Internet is different from RL.

If you attend am RL munch and walk up to someone and introduce yourself, it would be rude for that person to ignore you.  On the Internet, it's common and mostly accepted.

On the Internet, things like spelling and expressing yourself clearly are huge, and in RL it's hardly an issue.  Note that your spelling and punctuation are not very good.  Also, you never capitalize "I", which means either that you are not aware of conventions or don't give a crap.  And as slaveboyforyou stated, you're using the term "no shows" to describe a lack of responses.

I checked your profile and, aside from the spelling/punctuation issues, your interests and self-description all emphasize kinky play rather than you as a person, and a bare-chested pic reinforces the impression that you only seek bedroom play.

You've been given feedback and suggestions.  It's your choice whether to think about them or to insist that with your thirty year experience, you're going to continue as you darn well please.

They usually do when we don't all jump on their rude wannabe bandwagon.

First, I can't think what any of this, including the OP's opening message, has to do with "no shows."  That said, let's carry on and talk about people who don't respond to e-mails.

If we say "thanks but no thanks" then one of two things happens. The first is that the guy thinks he's in a dialogue with us and we're just being shy. Or we're evil bitches for rejecting him at which point we get vitriol.

I don't know about you, but getting an email that says I'm too fat to fuck just doesn't put a smile on my face. One describing graphically how he hopes to slowly cut me up and then after torturing me, leave me to die, makes me feel really ill.

And if we don't respond to the emails importuning us in return to "thanks but no thanks", then we start getting the second sort.

If we don't say anything at all, no reply, then we don't get this shit.

I find that really sad but I'm glad I read it.

I sometimes get frustrated when I don't hear back.  As someone who reads a profile, tries to understand it, might do research to see if the person appears on other sites and then writes a considered letter, I can easily spend 20 minutes or more on an introductory message to someone, sometimes double that.

Then I hear nothing.

Then I read posts about "I won't reply to one liners" and "why don't people read profiles and respond properly" etc. and I wonder why I should bother reading profiles, writing considered introductions etc. when I don't even get back a "Thanks for writing but I'm not interested."  That little bit of effort at least tells me that I've been appreciated, maybe, and that I deserve more than some git who just says "on your knees, bitch and serve me" (yes, I've seen some of the shit female subs get).

Why not reply and then block?  Surely, if you (collectively) want to encourage people to write a considered introduction to you, you (each individually) should do something to encourage them.  It can only help to respond to people who write an individual letter to you.  If you don't want to risk the vitriol, just block every guy you don't want to hear from.
