If you're a woman - you'll find hundreds of guys for your potential true love - of which maybe a score are local enough to be practical.
If you're a guy - you'll find a couple of women for your potential true love - of which none to one may be pragmatically located.

Given the odds - I'd say it's possible - but not probable - unless you're really persistent.

Yes you can find true love here

and BDSM love and vanilla love go together for some and not for others. There is no definitive answer there

I don't know if you can find true love in here. I just created my account yesterday. But, what is cristal clear, is that you can find an amazing display of romantic discourses. In fact, love and submission discourses share a lot of elements. No wonder why, then, many D/s people think of themselves as the last specimens of genuine romantic love and of BDSM's world as it's last shelter.

But, while we don't play with love and we usually think about it in a very solemn way, we can experience submission with more distance. Sometimes it can even work as a parody of love. This moments are great because we can experiment love and come back to our senses with a smile.

I think the answer is yes.  What started out as a D/s relationship between Mistress and I turned into true love.  I would still be in love with her even if the D/s element did not exist.  But there is a fine line as to being in love with someone and being in love with the things they do to you.

My answer is an emphatic YES - You can find love as well as many other things you may or may not be looking for - I think one of the keys is to be open to accepting what you do find here.  I met my Ma'am on CM a little more that two years ago and it did not take long to realize i had met the love of my life....W/we have lived together for almost two years and were married late last year and i have never been happier and She completes me....

To the second part of your question on BDSM and "vanilla" love - for me, i am not sure they could ever be separated if BDSM is truly part of your makeup and not just a kinky perversion.....of course W/we, like many, have to balance life and work and school and kids and do not necessarily keep the BDSM at the forefront for all to see, but it is really what brought U/us together and as W/we speak often, is one of the things that will keep U/us together because W/we have accepted that it is part of who W/we are - trying to supress it would certainly end U/us....

All this said, I am not sure there is a better way to find love if BDSM is really part of who you are....when you meet here, you tend to have a common interest that may never be exposed in other settings...Good luck!

Well, I wouldn't look for love here, meaning specifically on the internet and on collarme, as a rule of thumb, but as someone else said... "love is where you find it." Heck, I found my wife 15 years ago in the most unlikely place *laughs*. Insofar as BDSM and vanilla love going together, it's a meaningless question. Both BDSM and "love" are broadly enough defined that they certainly can go together. They do so in my life. THe question is really whether your personal definitions allow any compatibility there... some do, some don't. I would say I cannot even imagine having a M/s relationship without love. Others say that love ruins it. So what do YOU say?

I once found love on a hiking trail......in a church......at a family gathering (that should bring a laugh[:D])........and OMG, once in one of the worst trolling websites there is. Granted, I made her jump through a lot of hoops because of it, but end the end, it was love.

at a family gathering does indeed sound funky[:D] but...in a CHURCH?????????????????????????????????? so you're not one of those that look as if they're dying and constantly looking at the time..and well generally trying not to sleep..or counting how many stained glasses there are in each window, or notice how weird some people around you are dressed...or discovering people's unsuccessful attempts to have a fancy hairstyle...or noticing that every single person in the church has the flu so you start mentally preparing yaself wanting to scream "CHOIR" and get the response: achooooooooooooooo[:D]
yes..churches are fun and I'm usually trying to resist a laughter attack ..not all successful (it's bad..especially at funerals) but......seriously..relationship wise..that's a whole other DIMENSION I'd think[&:]

Oh gawd tricky question 'cos this has to do more with the nature of love than with the nature of 'here'... Vanilla love is not incompatable with BDSM love...love is love is loveafter all.. it just takes different forms. Everyone needs love. Full-stop. As vital to life as breathing. Platonic love, familial love, sexual love, spiritual love and then there's BDSM... well what i mean by that is what i mean by BDSM. Love in the world of submission and slavery keeps evolving for me as indeed my understanding and appreciation of my submission evolves.
As for here.... there's no such place as here... it's all in the Cloud and only exists to the extent that you have your computer switched on, project reality onto the screen and communicate with others. For me there's absolutely no substitute for touch and sensation.
