Geez, jen!  You're not really going to make My quote Myself, are ya?  See the above.

Oh, and while I'm at it.......

I want to be a dominate.

The word is Dominant.  It's a noun.  Dominate is a verb.  Which, btw, if you can't tell the difference, you (general you) probably shouldn't be doing this thing in the first place.

Heh...I "made" Lady Pact do something?! lol

Thank you for the laugh.  My regards to MsK!

littlesarbonn -> RE: The same 10 questions always asked (4/29/2009 9:39:14 AM)

To me, it's pretty funny, but I tend to not make the cut most of the time because I'll end up being courted by a woman who then inquires: "What do you want to know about me?" And I don't have a single, freaking question for her. At all. I figure anything I ask is pretty much a troll question anyway, so I tend to be much more comfortable finding out about her at her convenience at at the speed she wishes to reveal information. THAT does not go over well, so I find myself realizing that's the last conversation I ever have with her. And I've gotten so used to that happening, that I don't even blink when it happens anymore. I just figure that that's how it was meant to be and then go and continue crayoning in within the lines.

This may sound really bad, but I've stopped caring. I haven't found anyone, and I'm not expecting to find anyone. So I just stopped trying. It seemed like I put so much effort into achieving absolutely nothing, so why continue trying when the results usually come out to be the same?

<hint>

It's because you ignore some of the advances from those who are actually interested in you.

Those kinds of questions just make me snort my Pepsi!

I can totally understand it when someone says they're 50 miles from the next major city and can't find anything, but Dallas? The "Hub" of Leather activity? How hard were they looking?Where were they looking? Under a rock to see if ants have a little leather club down there?

I mean I wouldn't call my abilities in the ESP range but most if not all major cities will have something going on in the ways of Leather and/or kink. And it only takes about two seconds on google to find out what it is and who you need to contact about it.

Lazy fuckers are a turn off....please feel free to quote me.

...the list!

Yes, laziness is a turn-off indeed.  It is annoying when the person bothers me when in the same amount of time, they could have done a search themselves and found the information they needed.

Another one I find irritating is when subs ask me if I have any friends looking for a sub, and would I please refer them?  Answer:  I'm not the Domme match-making service.  Find your own bleeping Domme!  And why on earth would I "refer" an absolute stranger I knew nothing about to a Domme I considered a friend?

Geeeeeee I feel so stupid now. I see this in the profiles allllllll the time n then there's the typical, "if you don't know the difference don't message me."
not that I've been thinking of messaging the ppl with it but maaaaaan I have been wondering for AGES if there was some other..hidden difference, not just the noun vs. verb thing.
If I would've been looking to msg the person I probably would've skipped them anyway 'cause I wasn't sure or pointed out verb n noun n then ask if they're thinking of something else.[8|]

k k I aaaaam gonna ask..is the noun/verb all there is to the dominant/dominate question? [:-]

Lockit -> RE: The same 10 questions always asked (4/29/2009 10:09:45 AM)

1. From a dominant...I want to explore my submissive side, would you be the liberated, sex crazed hiddy ho that would like to serve my submissive needs?

This isn't a renta center buddy...

2, If you are interested in me,  will you check out my profile and if you like what you see, you can email me.

Hey dude, you didn't even read mine... like sure, I will jump right on that.

3. Will you blackmail me?

There isn't enough money in the world!

4. How do you rate my cock?

I don't, I've seen bigger holding a pinky ring.

5. Do you believe in female superiority and would like to be my goddess?

Lightening strike!!!

6.  I know there are a lot of guys who are fake around here, but I am the real deal, care to chat?

No, I think I will stick with the fakes... at least I know where they are coming from.

7.  Would you like an online submissive who will do anything for you?

Sorry my strap on isn't that long.

8.  Would you tie me up?

Yes, I would...naked, ball gagged and plugged...bound to the score board at the superbowl.

9.  Will you humiliate me?

You are doing fine on your own dude.

10.  I'm new to this, could I ask you a question?

Send your questions and I will have my marketing and advertising team get back with you.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: The same 10 questions always asked (4/29/2009 10:14:12 AM)

Well you ladies have hit the highlights. [:)]  My favourite remains "What's your bra size?"  I always ask them, Why, are you going to buy me a bra?

I treat this one the same as the 'can I ask you a question' types at the mall.

Can I ask you a question?

I believe you just did.

  1. Would you please recommend a <fill in the blank, could be hotel, nightclub, or restaurant> near <some place in the DFW area>?  I'll be in DFW for <one of the same reasons as #4> and am not familiar with the area.  This seems to be the newest one and I have gotten it several times lately.  When I respond with some suggestions, the next message is always an invitation to join the person at one of the places I recommended.  It's kind of a slick variation on #4 and I'm not interested for the same reasons.

Lady Topaz

Now I am feeling all trollish.  I do some travel for work and I have asked for suggestions of tasty local restaurants in an area, if I knew someone lived there or near there.

Of course, I do not ask people that I have never had an exchange with before.  That would just seem . . . strange.

11. Hi I am a Dominant male and have always wanted to express my sub side, but my slave would not understand. Can we get something discreet going?

I almost forgot about that one!  I probably get a similar request at least once a week.

LaTigresse -> RE: The same 10 questions always asked (4/29/2009 10:40:53 AM)

My personal all time most annoying one.

Would you ever consider switching? Sadly, they usually mean not only to submissive, but also sexual gender preference.

I used to say no. Then I recently decided to say.....sure but you've got to do it first. In person, with the dominant and/or male of MY CHOICE!

I rarely get another email from the same person.

Yes, that one drives me nuts.  I've seen it on the other side, too: profiles that start "I am a Dominate Woman...."   Believe me, if you start it that way, the rest of it better be damn good, because my interest level just went down by a factor of ten.

Just recently, I signed on to an online game that required a literacy test before you were allowed to use the chat feature:  basically you had to demonstrate that you knew the difference between "your" and "you're" and between "there," "their," and "they're."  I might pay to join a BDSM site that rejected anyone who didn't get that "Dominate" is not an adjective or noun.

Curious if anyone gets this question, because it's one that occasionally occurs to me, though I wouldn't write to anyone to ask it::  "You say you're not currently searching for a partner -- so why are you here?"

Easy!  Because we want to stay in touch with our friends!

I do get the sour-grapes of "you've been here THIS long and you haven't found anyone!" from those I brush off...  which is silly, I have found several someones!

Lockit -> RE: The same 10 questions always asked (4/29/2009 10:46:28 AM)

I wouldn't consider it trollish at all if I knew the person.  I'd be happy to recommend some places.  That's actually a smart thing to do, and something I do myself.

The ones who message me are invariably people I've never had an exchange with before.  The request for recommendations just comes out of the blue....and in virtually every case was followed by an invitation to get together at one of the places I mentioned.  It has me wondering if this was mentioned in a book about tips for picking up women or something.
