I have a menstruation fetish. I love the taste of it. I've met a submissive woman I'll be playing with and I've thought of including some Vampire role play. I think incorporating her menstruation in the play might be appropriate, but I'm not sure.

Is menstruation an off limits area when it comes to Domination?

Depends on the woman.
If she has severe PMS including cramps and diarrhea, I doubt she'll want to play during this time.
If she's on the pill, and has a light flow and an easy time, she might be amenable.

Me? About all I want are two aspirin, some Imodium, and a heating pad for my stomach. I would not be available for more.

But I suggest you think out how to do this that doesn't involve ruining sheets and mattresses, towels, etc. Because it gets expensive to replace them monthly.

It's not off limits when it comes to domination but it deffo depends on da woman.

Heck it's off limits for me, whether I'd be all good or not. Besides I'm unpredictable either I need a 2 of da strongest painkiller I can find, toilet to stick my head down in every once in a while & bed I can knock myself out in......or I don't feel a damn thang I wish I could figure out how to control which one I get *sigh*

Just invest in some dark towels... dark green, burgundy, black... there's lots of darker colors to choose from, and throw them in the wash on cold water when you're done.  I've even had white towels come clean, but they can stain if you forget about them and they sit for a while before you wash them. 

To answer your question, it is off limits for some people, and not for others.

Master uses me when i'm on my cycle. he enjoys it and for the most part so do i. there are times when i'm cramping but usually having sex with him relieves the cramps.

There are a very few women out there for whom it would be traumatising, causing psychological harm. Many others intensly dislike it but it wouldn't harm them and some for whom it either wouldn't bother them or would be quite into it.

Only the first group there it would be off limits as it would breach the duty of care. Just don't use light coloured sheets just in case some gets through or around the towel (Assuming you place one under her.

My periods are miserable. I get the most incredible back ache that nothing but narcotics and a heating pad relieves. I'm also prone to migraines during my period, so we try not to do anything that might trigger one. That includes playing and sex.

Even though play during menstruation might not be off limits to some, watching someone taste it might be.  You would need to talk it over with the woman in question and see how she would react.

When I lived in Italy I found that men didn't mind at all if a woman was menstruating but I find a higher percentage of Americans that do.  Keep in mind that some people link the process in their minds as being "dirty" and have a hard time overcoming that feeling.

It just depends on the woman.  Some women have terrible periods.  Some get horny as hell.  Some have embaressment issues and some will be traumatized.  Some find it spiritual and embrace their womans parts and reactions.
 
I don't know about the vampire part.  I find that bit a little tacky, but that's just personal preference.  I would rather someone cut me and take blood than suck it from where I am already bleeding.

I really think it depends on the woman.  Day one I'm not up for any contact whatsoever.  The boyfriend could come over and try to ask me a question and I'll jump on him.  However, past that I've always been receptive to play.  I suggest getting a pad to place on the bed.  There are several good ones they use in hospitals that will absorb fluids.  Towels if flow is low work lovely as well.  Some women don't want to be touched at all, some crave contact so it really depends on the person.  It also may vary month to month.  If I were you I'd definitely bring it up that you're interested.  I think too many women are afraid to approach the subject on their own.

It would really just depend on how she feels.
My periods are evil, because from two days before to the day it stops, I can't get aroused or I start to cramp very badly. The first couple days, I am pretty much good for nothing, and the next three, I can't lift anything without returning to the conditions of the first two days. Then it's just waiting it out.

I wonder if fisting would be more possible on menstruation, due to how slippery and well slimy period blood is? Of course dureing this time of the month fisting might be one of the last things you want done lol.

Thats sounds like a great question to ask the women you will be playing with. Everyone is different and no one knows how she will react unless they know her.

Yeah, I can't tell you if she would be into it or not though on the "clean-up" idea, hydrogen peroxide is a very effective  stain remover for blood. Apparently it eats away the proteins in blood which also takes the red away. I do not know how accurate that is but I do know that it works amazingly well. Good luck.

on white fabrics only!!!! It can act as a bleaching agent on prints/colored fabrics.

Maybe I should rephrase my question. When I am submissive, I've been the recipient of ruby showers. All of the women who get excited by my consumption of their menstrual flow have been dominant women. They all have seemed to be very excited by my consumption of their offerings.

What I'm trying to ask is if there would be a major difference between how dominant women feel about it versus submissive women. From what I'm seeing it seems that there might be a difference.

I was also wondering if a Master would lose some form of control or power from consumption in his Master role. Perhaps consumption of menstrual flow is perceived as something reserved only for submissives and off-limits to dominants.

I wanted to thank everyone for the responses. It's got me thinking now.

Not just no but hell no. It isn't My bag BUT if it was I would simply take it (My girl is one of the second type, she wouldn't like it but it wouldn't traumatise/harm her). The act itself is neither Dominant nor submissive it is the mind set and manner in which the act is preformed.
