Ukmale4u, it's no different than the 'vanilla world' . .. . . If anything, it's just a little more overt & honest & up-front in the kink world . ... .

As at least one disgruntled poster pointed out, to have a pussy is to have the capacity to have one's hand out to receive offerings from the holders of penises. It's been like this since meat was getting traded for sex when we all 'lived in caves' . . . . . Hell, some of the anthropologists think that our big fatty brains (of which we're so proud) came from that very process of trading meat for sex . . ... .

& I'm sure that the process of whining & whinging about that process goes back just as far . . .. . . .

It is supply and demand. Instead of bashing the women that do this, bash the sub men that keep the market alive by sending cash and gifts to total strangers. There is no way of knowing if these profiles demanding cash for consideration are duplicates by the same person or even men pretending to be women - they surely can't all be honest about their age and location and photos.

Akasha

...see, that is the thing. the subs don't want to admit they are part of the problem...

Isn't this a question of...
who was here first...

The chicken or the egg...?

What I would like to know is how much money the presence of these 'tribute dommes' is costing the OP.

And what's wrong with those who don't demand any tribute? Not good enough?

I think I am experiencing what the OP is referring too. I get a message everyday now, from women young enough to be my grand-daughter. I doubt they are really dominant, and our just looking for easy cash. Some even indicate in their profile that they are submissive, an obvious mismatch

I think people are just a little naive to the fact that Financial Domination IS a fetish... Hence charging tributes, most of those Dommes are FinDomme, and people DO have fetishes for sending beautiful (or maybe not so beautiful, even) women their money... *shrugs* Just my two cents.

Why care what others are doing? Just worry about doing you.

Quick thought to add...

Professional models/actors/singers/etc... all get paid for doing a service they they like... They liked doing such and wanted to make money from it but that doesn't mean they are a "fake" actor or a "fake" singer.. So what makes being a Pro Domme different?

I agree with RavenMuse. IMHO, money is the fastest way to poison any relationship, and it TRULY sucks when it is proven true!

I don't see the problem, you know in a life-style relationship, you do serve her, you do things for her, maybe clean the house, etc. - with a pro domme you don't have to do that. Somebody I know (who is a pro domme) said "Guys don't pay us for domming them they pay us that we don't make demands on their time outside the session, my life-style sub I will call up at 2am and ask him to bring me a latte, it's possibly cheaper and less demanding to be a client...."

I see it as fairly simple, you can be friends with your lawyer/doctor/electrician and also meet him socially, the fact that you do pay him for doing something he's good at (and possibly enjoys or else he might not have picked the profession) won't influence the relationship at all.

Okay, I may just be cynical, but I find it amusing when all kinds of ostensibly 'capitalist guys' suddenly get all socialistic about nookie & related (& in my not-so-humble, many of those who seem to have gotten their knickers all a-twist about this reek, to me, of being 'free marketeers') . . ...

Capitalism is all 'hooray' & 'fabulous' & 'the true determiner of worth' & related ideas until women can put a price tag on their emotional / social / & yes even sexual services, then suddenly it's a mandatory *socialist market that needs to be in place . . .. . (Ya know, *from each according to their ability, to each according to their need -- & jeez-louise it don't get much 'needier' than wantin' some luvin' . . . .)

& please note, I'm an admirer of socialism, capitalism, nookie, all that jazz . . . . . .

"Free marketeers."  What a great euphemism for "cheap."  I'm no fan of tribute dommes, but some of the submissive men I've met can pinch a penny so hard that you can hear Abe Lincoln screaming from his grave.

LOL

& it's not that I mind thrift, I find it admirable . . . . . Tho' I hear what you're saying about inappropriately cheap, such that they undermine their own attempts at connection . . . . .

I just get so annoyed with those who think 'free markets' are great when they benefit, & then flop around & oppose 'capitalist' approaches when they have to pay what the market will bear . . . ... . & then get all annoyed, themselves, at the very idea that someone would 'make money' doing something . . . . . ROFLMAO at that -- we live in the land of profit, it's the state cult, the pursuit of money.

Unless. You're a woman. Then. It's something different.

I truly 'got' this lesson rearing ums, cuz that's where capitalism really has no solution -- there is no way to turn 'bearing & raising ums' into a profit center (with the result that birth rates are *plunging all over, wherever profit motive has become the local way of life) . . .. .

& that really helped connect me with the many ways in which women's 'natural roles' are devalued in the capitalist system . ... . .

& the hypocrisies around the 'adult entertainment industry' in that regard particularly get my dander up . . . .. . . The hostility that's unleashed at prostitutes, strippers, porn actors, phone sex workers, BDSM providers, & so on is just astonishing, especially when much of it comes from the putative consumers of those products & services . . . . .

I hear less hostility directed at bomb makers, oil companies, pesticide producers & so on than I do sex workers, & that is just so completely back-assward, such an inverted sense of values, that my inner Bill Hicks takes over & I become an obnoxious ass . . . ..

I'm just less & less willing to sit by, especially some place like this, & keep my mouth shut . . . . .

* A good thing for the planet, by-the-by . . ..

Yeah, I see what you're saying. "Dude, if you're fat, ugly, and want to cheat on your wife, nobody owes you pussy, especially if they're young and hot." Personally, I feel a bit squicked by the Tribute Dommes, Pro Dommes, prostitutes, scammers, and gold diggers who pretty much outright exchange sex for money. I'm even more weirded out by their customers. The whole casual sex thing just seems pretty pointless to me, even if there *isn't* any money being exchanged, for that matter. I want to be sexual with someone who I love and care about, and who feels that way about me. BDSM play can be a lot more casual/friendly, though. I guess I'm a little too naive sometimes.

So a guy called one of my lines the other day and wanted to be blackmailed. I took his info but didn't follow up on it. Figured he was a wanker.

He called another line yesterday. So far he has sent me $50. (that was a "hanging up on Princess tax) plus spent $30. talking on the phone. I do expect more though.

Some guys like to be told that the only thing they're good for is $$$. It makes their happy place hard.

I don't know why.

I couldn't begin to tell you, but...I'm glad they're out there!!!

I suggest strongly that you check out what pro dommes do, last time I checked whippings, role play, bondage and such was not an exchange of sex for money. That's a bit like saying going to the OB Gyn or the urologist is having sex, or if you are dressed up and a guy finds it so erotic that in a quiet minute he uses your image to masturbate, you are having casual sex with him.

It's closer to saying receiving a colonic irrigation is like having sex.  Jennifer Cho once said that no one is sure whether a colonic is medical, or an entertainment expense.
