The picture, as it is does absolutly nothing for me. If it is a pro shot rather than semi-pro or amature then it isn't even very good. (Pretty dull and boring and I'd expect a pro to at least attempt to do something interesting with the lighting).

Would I have a sub wear such? depends on who she is, if she would suit them and if she could actualy bloody move in them without falling flat on her ass. Heals can give a better legshape, but of course you don't get to see that in such a close cropped photo.

being a foot fetishist myself the first things i notice are the perfect toes and why she is raising her big toe for the pic makes no sense to me. and the length to width ratio of her foot is near perfect too. very pretty feet with or without heels lol

I agree with Tammyjo here. I wear high heels, skirts, makeup, spend lots of time on my hair, and wear very feminine perfume. None of these things make me anymore feminine or ladylike than a woman that wears jeans and t-shirt with her hair in a pony tail and no make up. In my mind femininity is all about the woman, her attitudes, and her behaviors.

===============

thats the whole issue m'Lady..in YOUR mind...YOU aint m a l e !
no self respecting male will prefer a woman that looks and acts male vs a woman that acts and looks female.

doesnt really matter what YOU think...it MATTERS what us guys think.
no guy "I" ever met wants a woman acting and looking like another guy.

and me myself and i...prefer girlie girl foo foo types.

take care

Realy?!

Tell that to my two male partners then I guess and the numerous men I have dated, scened, and enjoy as friends or lovers.

They like me for me -- not for something that I put on or wear. In fact most of them like me with no clothes on best of all.

A personal preference is not the same as solid reality for all "males" or "females".

Some of us "females" actually are more concerned about what we feel like and want than what men want or see -- I consider that one of characteristics of being a dominant in fact. Though I'm sure many folks will disagree with that concept.

This is one of the biggest obstacles "new" femdoms face when they try to get their head around domination and learning to relax and enjoy it. The costumes.

Some submissive men are so wrapped up in their clothing fetishes that it's almost a requirement for a woman to dress that way in order to get him to submit -- or, in order to appeal to his masculine side. The result is a woman in uncomfortable clothing feeling objectified, not empowered.

It's a completely different thing when a woman *chooses* to put on an item of clothing because she knows the effect it has on the man she's with. However, it's a simple matter: Does the effect it has on the man OUTWEIGH the discomfort of the clothing? If she's distracted, forget it. He can be on the floor drooling and all she is thinking about is getting out of the damned clothes.

Subs who have a fetish for girlie clothing don't see what all the hubbub is about because they get turned ON when they wear uncomfortable shoes, tight corsets, itchy stockings or other femme clothing. They don't see what the big deal is, they see it as a privledge to be able to wear such things.

I'd suggest to those subs they consider what it would be like to wear a suit and tie -- or, better yet, a full tuxedo -- every time you were dominated. Including shoes that were too tight. And, you had to keep it all on. Not very sexy any more, is it? Hell, I think men in tuxes are *incredibly hot* and I get wet just looking at them. Am I going to make my man dress up in one every time I am horny? Why on earth would I want to *distract him* with clothing when we could be focussing on each other?

I'll add that I have a huge closet full of fetish gear and about 20 pairs of black patent leather boots. I love to get dressed up in it when I go out dancing or to do my own thing. But I don't wear it to dominate a man, because it's hot and impractical.

It's not the high-heel ... it's the ankle strap.

what You say here,.,,i understand. Your posting has 100% merit.
but "I" aint talking ABOUT domination...
i am talking about a woman BEING a woman.
i am just so so tired of meeting, and seeing females acting like us guys.

i simply am just personally fed up,...and worn out,,,dealing with females that are just as much of a guy as i am.

when is this country going to have female women and less manly women?

i understand You...in THIS post. You are correct...about that.
but it aint about domination...
it's about a woman BEING a woman...NOT another man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

take care AA

Actually i think there are pages and pages of subs on here that will go much further than dressing up in a tux and they would actually beg to dress in the horrible heels and tight clothes females wear and be rock hard the whole time because it is so sexy ;) food for thought

But who are you do tell a woman what it means to be a woman? It's got absolutely nothing to do with what she wears. You can fetishize the hyper-feminine stereotype all you like if it trips your trigger, but that's only one part of the spectrum. Anyone further to the left or right on that spectrum is hardly less of a woman.

which means what? more of the same old b.s.--running around in frumpy sweaters and pants, no makeup, hair in curlers, face-mask, and fluffy mules...right?

oh puh leeze.
too many females acting like guys.
utterly ridiculous in MY book.

a woman needs to BE a woman...
if ya want us guys to act like real men around you...otherwise...why bother?
why would us guys WANT to be with..another guy? you are supposed-to...BE women. and i didnt say hyper foo foo girlie girls 24/7...but it damned sure aint gonna hurt ya to show ya care enough about yourself to SHOW us you are feminine.

especially when i have heard way too much about..."why is he sleeping on the couch instead of with me?"
who wants to sleep with another guy?

think about it dear lil stef.
take care girl.

What is a woman?

Is a woman someone who dresses in frilly clothes and heels? Someone with xx chromosomes? SOmeone with long hair?

Good heavens. I agree that I find the hyper feminine to be very attractive, soemtimes. But that is NOT what makes us women.

When I am not wearing makeup, or running around in my sweats, I'm not being a "man." I identify completely female. I'm just being my kind of woman, as opposed to some stereotyped feminine ideal.

you say you didn't say "hyper feminine" but that's exactly what you're describing! Someone who is always made up, who doesn't wear her comfy clothes or shoes because it makes her "one of the guys." I totally get that this is unattractive to you, to each their own, but you're making incredibly false generalizations both about what men (again, how are we defining that) want and what women are.

I am female. I identify as a woman. I also enjoy being "one of the guys" dressing comfortably, engaging in typically male-identified activities. I undertsand that this is unappealing to you, but to say it's unappealing to all men? I find that geek girls (girls like me who are into the "male" passtimes of computer and role playing games, not to mention medieval weaponry and swordplay) have a -huge- pull among some schools of men. Heck, I could go ask my previous partners what they thought.

Somehow, I think they saw me as very feminine even when I'm in my comfies, no makeup, and we've been up all night playing Mage Knight.

Wasn't trying to win so much. And please know I wasn't trying to criticize -your- preference. I don't think its a bad thing. I just think it's not a -universal- thing.

The pic is not porn, it is a catalogue photo, it shows exactly what it needs to-the detailing of the shoe so you can decide if a) you've already got something similar in your collection, and b) whether not not you want to buy it.

That's why it's only a picture of the foot and shoe, and the lighting is bright and clear.

My grandmother was what Veronica would call a lady-she would not go out of the house without a hat, gloves, stockings, makeup and heels-except to garden in her backyard. You would not see her at the grocery store in sneakers, sweats, and curlers. Not high heels, though-she wore shoes with a lower heel for daytime. In fact, she would not have considered a woman who wore high stilletto heels in the daytime to be a lady.

I used to wear heels (although not high ones in the daytime) and skirts a lot more than I do now. A lot of it is practical. I moved from a temperate climate where you could wear purely decorative boots made out of stretchy fabric with spike heels in January, to one where it's best to wear heavily insultated, flat boots with tractor tire treads on them in January. I also work in a building with ceramic tile floors over concrete and I find that rubber soled shoes keep my comfort level up-they may not look glamorous, but I have fewer foot and back problems if I don't wear heels or other hard-soled shoes. I wear daytime makeup, and clothes appropriate to our business-casual dress code (I wrote it, I kind of have to). Skirts in warm weather-pants in the winter (tile over concrete is rather drafty in the middle of a Michigan winter). I have one pair of jeans because I consider jeans to be work clothes for getting dirty in or painting in, not something I'd wear out and about. However, when I go out in the evening I wear evening makeup, dresses and very high heels. And I have a great fondness for hats and gloves.

It wouldn't matter what lighting was used for me, it would never be porn. Not my thang. Just responding as a photo geek and I've seen better taken catalog shots. My ex-brother-in-law was in advertising and I used to be in retail management so other than just from photo standpoint I tend to think, "Does this make the customer want to buy this product"

Most of the catalog shots I've seen for cheap fetish-type shoes (from online stores to Fredericks' catalogs-my former sub had a shoe fetish, and was always showing me catalog shots of this shoe or that one) all look like that.

Perhaps you could revolutionize the industry with better pictures, RavenMuse...many shoe and foot fetishists would thank you :)

Maybe I could borrow Daves studio.... maybe not. But I will be sure and mention it to a couple of pro friends (Mainly gothic work with some fetish) as a possible lucrative sideline.

I adore high heels and fetish dressing. But in my relationship's I'd say that 90% of the time we played there was no dressing up involved. Just your regular street and nightclothes (and collars, cuffs, gags of course, mostly on me). But those 10% of the times were lovely. Dressing up for a romantic evening at home or a night out.

But if somebody I was with just did not want to wear high heels ever, then that would okay, as long as I could. But if she didn't want to and I couldn't either, then I don't think it would work.

Hmmm... since I thnk I have nice feet and love to show them off, I am often barefoot when playing.

I so however think that heels add a very sexy edge to a woman, and they certainly alter my mindstate when I wear tehm. Not that they make me feel any more or less Domme that I naturally am - but maybe they make me feel a little dirtier and flirtier.

It's all a matter of preference, as I see it. I wear heels sometimes, because I like being taller, and when you give me four-inch heels, I'm almost six feet.

& sometimes it is fun to pin someone's wrists down while wearing heels or boots.

I look at it from both sides, both the practical-my back HATES heels, and from the fetish side- my mind LOVES heels.

When doing a formal scene, I will dress in heels, but will often make it part of the scene for the sub to take my heels off me, while kneeling and kissing my feet etc.

I like how they make my body look, I like how they make me feel emotionally? But I can't handle the pain I get for two days afterwards if I wear heels for an extended length of time. ;)
