~FR~ I've gone down 5 lbs in two weeks (since dropping the steroids) :) and that's with spraining my ankle on the 3rd and being relegated to crutches and moving as little as possible till yesterday :P Still going doooooown, hopefully. Not really ever hungry beyond normal, glad to be off those damned meds, though, they made me gain 15 pounds or so. I'm going to be back on my losing track again soon. "Eating to Lose" is a wonderful concept that I'm living (and that I'm living proof of it working). It's a life-style change, but not a hard one, and one that will/can last a lifetime :) My dream-weight (260lbs) has a target maintenance diet of around 3300 calories a day (for my height and age), while my current 'to lose' amount is just around it, from 3130 to 3630 with one day of deliberate over-eating while I'm trying to lose. I already don't get hungry (and, actually, it's a chore eating that much every day) at my current diet. It makes me feel great to not be fighting insurmountable odds, anymore :D Plus, my mom's recently discovered acai (ironically from its original source, not the phony online stuff) and loves it... she's going to get me some to use this summer too. She says she doesn't know if it helps her lose weight, but it definitely makes her feel more energized which is, in itself, a good thing. My docs cleared it, too. I'd suggest it... we get it through Sambazon.
