Could Women office supervisors be Dommes.? ive worked to Female supervisors and have never got the courage to ask them if they are Dommes. is this appropriate? or is it better to keep work and lifestyle private.

Also She was wearing stilettos which seemed more appropriate for a club, it didnt look suitable wear for the office. to me that seemed a giveaway
kevin

i have not read the other responses so forgive if i repeat.

I do not give a dead rats ass if she shows up dressed in a leather corset and carrying a whip.

It is never appropriate to discuss WWIWD in the work place, especially with a supervisor. If you do, you may find yourself out on your ass for sexual harassment.

purepleasure -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 9:43:28 AM)

Many times if a supervisor is watching a subordinate closely at work, it's a good indication thier days of employment with that business are numbered.  If she was "being bossy", she could  have been attempting to train you do perform your employment position properly in a way that should not have been embarrassing or humiliating.  If you were not able to separarate your fantasy from your job, it's probably best that you no longer work there.

LadyPact -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 10:04:40 AM)

I don't suppose this is the same supervisor who had to constantly remind you about coming back on time from breaks because you were always delayed by your online 'mistress?'

Hey, you don't suppose that maybe, just maybe, this woman was "bossy" because..... um.....  She was the boss!  As the boss, unless there is some regulation in the workplace, she's entitled to wear any kind of shoes that she pleases.

Why it would occur to any sane, rational person to ask anyone in the workplace the details of their intimate, private life is beyond Me.

lobodomslavery -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 10:33:19 AM)

yep She was the one. Completely intolerant and a bit of a battleaxe in a way. The worst was She told me that She was going to make me permanent and had no problems with my work. Then She turned on me by over supervising. i couldnt put up with that . So i left. im suing for constructive dismissal- She made my life so impossible i had no other choice. i couldnt work. She wouldnt let me- constantly undermining me, standing over me. Well i hope that She get s her comeuppance. As the saying goes what comes around goes around

Ok, I'll bite, but only because of this little nugget here.

I am unemployed and can't find a decent job to save my life that pays more than I'd be spending in gas, but some idiot can have a job and 'leave' because he doesn't like the way his supervisor is supervising AND he thinks it's completely uncalled for that she expect him to be to work on time and even calls her a 'battleaxe' for doing her job.

WTF is wrong with this world? *angry shake of the fists*

part of doing your job is your people skills, yours apparently could do with some improvement.

intenze -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 1:17:32 PM)

wow...that really made my eyes roll. I cannot help but wonder, kevin, how many jobs you have had and how long they lasted.

lobodomslavery -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 1:43:37 PM)

it wasnt quite like leaving voluntarily. lets put it like this if  i didnt leave i would be in a very difficult position, in fact my position would not be tenable. i was bluntly told at an interview that i wasnt a fit for the position after being told for ten months that i was. You could say i was stabbed in the back then. it certainly felt like that at the time

lobodomslavery -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 1:44:58 PM)

And Miss i am currently unemployed and it sucks. i tried my hardest and i was betrayed. well i dont know what You call being told that your satisfactory for ten  months and then told that your not satisfactory six weeks before your probation expires but to me thats betrayal. despite retraining i have not secured work since i had to leave my last job in July 08

lobodomslavery -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 1:53:58 PM)

So like You i am sending CVs on a daily basis and getting no response. i have not like many millions been able to secure work due to the economic downturn which is affecting the whole world. there is no money around, no confidence and that equals no hiring as employers naturally enough are fearful about making ends meet without the added burden of the financial responsibility in recruiting new staff. People are being squeezed at both ends. i want to pay my taxes as much as the next but i cant because of the economic downturn and the fact when i was working i was screwed by a supervisor. i am sorry but that s how i see it

SilverMark -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 2:07:22 PM)

Funny thing....as The Boss, and I am THE BOSS without equal in my company I supervise a number of people....I dress as an ultra conservative businessman....yet, I am a Dom....you can tell no more about my personal life from my actions and dress in the workplace than you can if you met me on the street somewhere.
Hope you find work soon but, keep your personal life PERSONAL....it will serve you well!

lobodomslavery -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 2:28:48 PM)

yeah i certainly learned that. i mean im not saying my performance was perfect it definitely wasnt but unemployment is a tough gig for anyone and i think everyone appreciates that on this forum

What?!?!?!  No stilletos and leather mini-skirts?

Well I am not coming to work for YOU!

And Lobo ~ I have a serious lack-o-sympathy for you.  You have not worked in over a year and you STILL have your panties in a twist over this supervisor.  You need to get over it and move on.  Really.

If you felt wrongly treated by this person you should have went to human resources or used one of the open-door policies.  You should have saved your satifactory progress reports during your probation period.  You should have taken seriously whatever she was telling you that you needed to improve on.

Stop with the anger issues and stop projecting stuff on other people.  It is nothing more than objectification, which is unhealthy for interpersonal business relationships.  Sheesh!

lobodomslavery -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/24/2009 11:35:03 PM)

And on the stilettos and leather. How is a man meant to react if his supervisor dresses and acts like a dominatrix at work. is it not reasonable to expect that work supervisors keep their lifestyle issues at home and not at work? we dont nor should we have to put up with it. there were after all many males in the office who were not into the lifestyle. how do you think they felt when they were seeing this Woman dress so provocatively every day and bark out orders to the ones who were unfortunate to have less experience than Her including myself. it just sucks. like i say She only had six months more experience than me yet She stood over me like as if i was a nothing, constantly checking up on me. And yes if i ever got high up in an organisation , i would make it a rule that no Female staff are allowed to wear stilettos. Because it is degrading men

Please don't, the country can't afford one more person on unemployment.

Being a supervisor has nothing to do with Domination and everything to do with the fact that they did or do a good job.

Wellll not always, or perhaps i should say not in the way you think.  I had a supervisor who got her job by doing a good job on her knees, and we had the pics to prove it.  Gotta love the U.S. Postal Service [:D]
