But i hope you get my point Sir. is there any justification for a Woman or a man for that matter to dress provocatively in a work situation as a way of enforcing their status. i honestly dont think there is. why not dress normally like everyone else. the very fact that management will back you should be enough. But oh no She had to go for the Domme look

Kevin, I'm afraid you have given this woman the impression that you are a creepy, whiney little snot. She wouldn't have to be a Domme to laugh at you, quite frankly.

I'm sure she's just got the wrong impression, though. I mean, your input here has proven that. You're a bastion for male rights in the workplace!

BTW, major headslap moment: she mentioned your inappropriate conversations IN THE INTERVIEW? Shoulda apologised for wasting their time and walked out there and then, dude.

It's called Power Dressing. It's been called that since the 80's

DarkSteven -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/25/2009 5:44:38 AM)

kevin, if it bothered you to the extent that it interfered with your concentration and the ability to do your work, it was your place to file an anonymous comment to Human Resources.

If it didn't, it was your responsibility to just get your work done.

YOU as the EMPLOYEE had responsibility for doing what you could to CORRECT a problem which you perceived.  You seem to think that the company had an obligation to provide you with the work environment which you wished.  WITHOUT you saying anything about it.

If you walk into court and make the claim that she dressed inappropriately, the judge will ask you what steps you took to remedy the situation.  If you can show evidence that you filed three complaints and none were acted upon, he or she will take you seriously.  If you have none of that...

Funny thing....as The Boss, and I am THE BOSS without equal in my company I supervise a number of people....I dress as an ultra conservative businessman....

except you don't wear underwear.

i just felt i was being bullied. And no i dont particularly like taking orders especially when they are barked at me. i was hoping She would be friendly. But She wasnt, it was almost as if She wanted me to lick Her boots. And sorry but i am human too and wanted to be treated with respect . i wasnt. even my Trade Union rep said so

lobodomslavery -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/25/2009 8:01:04 AM)

Lady Pact, please dont take this personally, but i would not like to work to You. Your philosophy on what is acceptable is not mine. i think people should be more tolerant. for me employment is way too strict now . Not to mention the fact that the boss when She was an employee got a much easier ride. i know this because i was told this by my rep

Sooo... if my male supervisor wears a black leather jacket and boots to work, that makes him a dominant?  Here I just thought he was going for the biker look.

But, I happen to know first hand that he's a bottom.  And squeals like a girl.  <WEG>

Lockit -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/25/2009 10:11:07 AM)

That would be more...

PeterJay -> RE: Should I ask Her if She is a Domme (5/25/2009 10:21:35 AM)

Who cares that she is younger and only has 6 more months experience than you. If she has the skills to lead everyone in the department than I say more power to her. Not "Domme power". Shes a woman, deal with it.

i just found it strange to be honest because She told me that She was younger than me , had only six months more experience than me and yet She was my supervisor, i guess thinking She was a Domme crossed my mind because of this. normally You would not have a situation of a Woman supervising a man at work with only six months more experience than him, just my 0.02 cents

i was only late a few times and She made no issue of it. If it was such a big deal why did She not discipline me there and then. She didnt. all i want is justice, the bottom line is a man , every man is entitled to a job and to payment for said job without interference
kevin

You wanted a spanking, didn't you?

Now i'm going to bed with thoughts of Judge Judy and kevin in some weird courtroom S/M scene....jesus it's gonna be a rough night.
Sleep well!! Or...as well as you can....[:)]

i had the most awful night. i had some dream where Judge Judy was the Dominatrix  and she was just torturing him in court for all of us to see (not necessarily a bad thing) but, to make it worse Barry Manilow was playing in the background. Oh, and she was hitting him with her gavel *trying* to knock some sense into him.

My co-workers have recently decided to torture me by forcing me to listen to Barry Manilow daily (and Kenny G) and it's permeated into my dreams as well...i loathe them.
