Fantasy time ~ Forget your fiscal and other limitations, what would be your ideal setting/s for a BDSM play session?


Mine is very Gothic, dark similar to those old Hammer Film sets for Christopher Lee's Dracula movies set in the Victorian era (where else?). An abandoned Gothic Church lit with candles, late night with a heavy mist outside and an organist playing Bach's organ pieces with the lioghter areas adding heart rendering pathos to a slave's begging and the rich powerfull areas lifting the screams of the slave and the sound of a whip or crop meeting her flesh..

I played with my slave on a moonlit beach at midnight last year. It was something I always wanted to do. I presented her a new collar first. It was at Assateague Island Maryland. We found a area that had a old pier piece close to the ground. We had the edge of excitement looking around to make sure no one walked up on us.

This is a great question but I don't really know my answer.

I love sword and sorcery stuff as a kid, but while some of gor resonates with me, I don't see myself as a warrior like that and that doesn't work.  Same goes with Sci-fi, again, huge fantasy of mine, love reading, but that doesn't work either. 

I am more interested in molesting the baby sitter, shoving someone up against the wall in an alley, or violating someone in the confessional at a church.as it is far more the acts than the space itself.

For me it is more what it isn't.  It isn't my house but someplace "else" (which might say something about me) but that was true even when I had a penthouse overlooking the capital mall.  Although oppulent and exotic surroundings work best, if I had to choose something it would be a toss up between something out of "eyes wide shut" or some sort of middle eastern hareem. 

This is so funny because when I formed PleasureBound.org it was because I wanted something with more ambiance, more exotic than the existing groups and yet I have come to a place where "place" is far less important to me.  I am actually even moving away from the scene a bit.  Yeah, for me it is all about the act, whether sensual and erotic, or dark and twisted.

I have some unused speculums that are hot for me but doing it all in a medical room as a "doctor" doesn't do much for me, but doing it on a bed in private does.  I hadn't really given this much thought to you asked and I am a bit surprised by my own answer.  I guess it all goes back to me that what really counts is who I am with and my connection with that person, I guess that overshadows all else.

Out in the woods with a full moon would be my ideal setting for play or Stone Hedge.

I found a huge heart shaped rock in Colorado, that would take some doing to get up on, that I really wanted to play on!  I could just see someone staked to that!

But I think for fantasy... I'm going to another planet with pink, blue and orange sky and a couple of moons.  You can read about it in my next story if I ever get it done and published! lol

Hmmm, I think there would be two places I would love to do a scene in...

1.) a Victorian parlor with overstuffed couches and cabbage rose patterns on EVERYTHING. There's something soooo exciting about doing naughty things in such a proper setting.

2.) A fern covered clearing deep in the woods where the air is clear and the stars are out and no one can hear the screams for miles and miles...

Prior to becoming involved in BDSM, I joined the mile high club, bonking a female flight engineer in an RAAF C30, and then bonking one of the TV7 crew whilst filming a sunken wreck (30ft under water) off the Ahbrolis Islands NW Western Australia and of course I've worked pagan rites naked with a coven on a beach under the full moon, in a glade in the woods and on a mountain in the midst of a thunder storm, I'm thinking of revisiting the last three and especially the side of a mountain in the midst of a thunder storm would be mind blowing to do a heavy scene.. Under water or in an Air Force C30 might be a whole lot harder but perhaps not impossible if the right people were involved.

A huge mansion with cathedral ceilings, lots of open space, fulltime catering and cleaning, a pool to lounge by and lots of time to waste.

It's far more about the person than the setting. 
That having been said, a few things that come readily to mind:
**A church, rather isolated, bright moonlit night.  Moonlight spilling through the stained glass windows which casts colorful streaks of light down into the church, particularly onto the altar. 
**A castle with gothic, over-done furniture but also the sense of disrepair as some aspects are rough and rusty.  I am envisioning a rather rugged St. Andrews cross. 
**Outside, a mostly wooded setting with a clearing.  Potentially ringed by stones.

Industrial factory type place with all kind of metal structures hanging around and being put to use. Chains, hooks, scary machines, the smell of grease and oil, spotlights, weird acoustics/echoing. Extremely loud thunderous metal or punk music in the background.

I agree with DavanKael .. it's more about the person than the setting.  But in saying that ... a beach, white sand, cool, blue water, at night, with a full moon, hearing the waves crashing.     A castle with lots of rooms and balconies and heavy, dark, big furniture.

Outdoors in a rose garden in bright sunlight, aroma of flowers and the rustle of trees in the breeze.

Or in a barn during a violent thunderstorm with constant flashes of lightning, booms of thunder, gusts of wind and heavy rain on the roof for aural stimulation.

I gotta go with IronBear, the classic dungeon in the gothic castle. Kind of subterranian, lots of masonry, dank. Maybe a huge fireplace at one end, brasiers for light, worked iron everywhere. Chains hanging all over....Or maybe, how about Frankenstein's lab? Old world masonry and sci-fi electrical props. Ok, I'm done speaking in sentence fragments.

The front room of a  glass house overlooking the ocean, empty except for a long oak table perfectly polished and adorned with leather cuffs attached and shiny  chains hanging from the ceiling above, lit by the dying rays of the setting sun and warmed by a blazing fire, Houses of The Holy playing on the stereo.

I want to get a yurt and set it up like a Ghengis Khan exhibition I saw..
silk carpets...ornate low furnishings...candle holders...torch sticks...low bed with pillows...
and with BDSM furniture as well...in that "style"
