They might be but it wouldn't be strictly because of their age. The turnoff might be a function of their age (maturity, life experience) but the age itself would not be a turnoff.

I prefer my slaves to be young, but that helps because they do not have the jaded outlook on life that some may get as they get older. Too young, and naive is not attractive in the long term though. My girl is 25 and I am soon to turn 44. She has had many more life experiences than someone her age, and she is definately not naive. It all depends upon the people involved.

No. I've met some very immature 36 year olds and some very mature 20 year olds. It all depends on the person.

OP, do you really want someone who is so shallow they are only interested in young firm bodies without caring about the person inside? Conversely, some people prefer someone of their same age, who have experienced the same life stresses and events. I wouldn't know even where to start talking with someone too young to remember Challenger. Some of the world events that have shaped me I need to have shaped my partner. He could have a different opinion on the Vietnam War, but not to remember it or have it make an impact upon him would be a great chasm between us.

Why exactly are you asking this question? Have you had difficulty meeting anyone, are you being rejected without knowing why, or has someone specifically said your age is an issue? If you're having trouble finding a Dominant partner it could be about things other than your age. To me this sounds like a contradiction,you say she is young 25, yet not naive and had many more then most would experience at her age, most people become jaded through life experiences, I don't really think age has much to do with it. There is a huge ageism for women over 40, Men in their 40's and 50's want way younger ladies, 20's and low 30's basically for the reasons you have said, I believe it is for this reasons,(more naive, easier to train, hot tight bodies, less baggage) Yet those same men do tend to forget, they are jaded with their life experiences, life has away of teaching us all lessons, when one becomes less shallow, it's really what is on the inside that matters.

@OP: I wouldn't think of it in terms of "turn ons and offs" but yeah, historically I've not been interested in women below their mid 30's even when I was 25. Now that I'm 45, that hasn't changed much.

But of course I am not 40 however as a younger person who 'experiences it daily' there is ageism against the younger people also. Of course if you can not see that in your post then I am sorry. I'm not doubting that the ageism exists but I just haven't found it to be true in my own life and I'm 47. In fact men my age, older, and younger, tell me exactly the opposite - that they want the older woman. They dont' have the young ums depending on them, they are more at peace with themselves and their lives, they generally have a decent, steady job and a whole lot more going on for them at this age. I hear from these men that there is a confidence and sexuality common to older women that is very attractive. As for having a young, hot body there is a lot that can be done with the one you have at any age. Take care of yourself and it will show no matter what your age is. I'm sure there are examples of situations in favor of older women and against older women but personally it's been a positive thing for me to be able offer a partner. If it's a problem for someone they can just get out of line- there are plenty more waiting to take their place. As to the OP's original query of if a younger sub is at a disadvantage, I'd have to agree with those that have said it's all up to what the individual is like.

I agree with lizi, Orion and colouredin. Confidence, wit, and the ability to see great joy in the world are what I look for. I have found that in both younger and older women. Also, candisa, I found your comment to colouredin, "I respect 'your' opinion," -- your in quotes as though she has no mind of her own -- to be backhanded, bordering on nasty. If I were hitting on someone, and she did something like that, it would red flag the hell out of me. I would then lose interest, and she perhaps would assume it was because of her age. It's more convenient to assume that than to work on her personality.

I am sorry if that has been *your* experience but it might be possible that attitude is a bigger turn-on than age.
