We've got a pet rabbit named Akuma.  She's quickly becoming a beloved member of our family with her interesting personality.  We're knee deep in wedding planning and such, which is cool.  My Owner and I are very happy, working lots, and spending all of our free time together. :-)

I'm not even sure where I should start!  This past month has been something of a whirlwind.  As promised, once MP got home from Korea, we've been making every event that's fit in with our schedules.  He's actually asked if there can be one weekend that we just stay home.  LOL.  Silly man.

My clip is done with his pre-deployment training and is here for just a bit before flying out of country.  We've been enjoying the visit and having good opportunities for play.  My boy now has a carving of "LP" on his chest, which matches his brand.  (Shoot Me.  I like blood.)  Done at the end of a wonderful scene that lasted most of the night.

I'm too happy at the moment to talk about his actual deployment, so instead, I'll look forward to SELF, which is in a couple of weeks in Atlanta.  Should anyone from CM be attending, please feel free to say hello.  I'm not hard to spot or just ask around.  I look just like I do in the pictures.

ETA:  Almost forgot to mention the upcoming move to CA.  I should be changing locations within the next couple of months.

Wow, exciting month huh?

Well, for me it's been great, my roses are blooming beautifully!! And our garden is starting to bud out, looks like we're gonna have LOTS of hot peppers!! Even the tomatoes are doing good!! Hubby has already been eating the green onions and radishes. We've been super busy around here, getting lots and lots done. The garage is slowly getting organized (we've only been working on it for three years!!). In fact, for the first time in a very long time you can actually walk all the way around the Nova!

I'm waiting for the weather to decide if it's gonna rain or not and for how long before I set up my pool, my grand saplings are super anxious for it to happen!!

We've planted all kinds of new flowers (with the help of the grand ones) and hubby tilled up the back yard and seeded it so we now, for the first time since we moved here, have a lush back yard full of thick green grass!! We're very proud!!

Soooo, I'm taking volunteers for pool cleaning duty!!!

After spending weeks trying to get our damn mower together and functioning, we finally got it done today.  So I just spent the first few hours after work mowing our lawn.  I believe that I'm slightly sunburnt now (I don't tan, dammit, I go straight to "lobster").  The puppies are doing well - eyes open and staggering about like little drunks lol.  Other than that, we don't really have "news" - we're still talkign to the same two that I think I mentioned last month, and I still hate my coworkers ...

LaTigresse -> RE: june roll call (6/1/2009 1:37:39 PM)

Not much to jump up and down for joy about. Other than all the fantastic weather we've been having. For once, we've had a real spring and have been able to have windows open. Too often we go from running the furnace to running the AC with no non humid nice weather inbetween. This spring has been fabulous.

The farm looks absolutely gorgeous this time of year. The flower beds are colourful, the grass and trees are stunning shades of green. The horses have lost their winter coats and are fat and glossy from all that spring grass.

I had my spring fill of morels, god I love those things! Unfortunately I picked up a few passengers while out hunting for them. Either that or while I was out in the big pasture re-doing fencing. Regardless of where they came from, they gave me this delightful little Lyme germ. Went to the doctor and going through a battery of tests to be certain that is what it is (early on it is a difficult diagnosis) Still too much joint pain, fatigue and brain-lockup.......but I am confident it will pass.

Have been riding and working horses when I can. The joint issues and exhaustion have given them an easy spring so far.

I am in the middle of making a big batch of strawberry preserves. Love the strawberries!!

Haven't the time, and more importantly, energy and patience to deal with needy new potential slaves right now. That is just kind of on the back burner unless a really stellar young woman/men appears. The two girls that were supposed to be coming again, have screwed around on schedule and timing so much, that I have just lost interest. If they show up, I will try to work them into my schedule. If not, I will not be heartbroken. Maybe even relieved, if I don't start feeling better soon.

Much to be accomplished this month, in between fits of baking, cooking, sewing and making things bloom. I'm waiting for the hummingbirds and butterflies to show up !

Next on the roster is trying new recipes from an as yet undetermined country and trips to the local range to blow the dust off my S&W.

AlexandraLynch -> RE: june roll call (6/1/2009 8:54:06 PM)

Well, I have some excellent developments. I am sitting here on the computer and relaxing while our new boy sub called Big Dog (his inner animal is a bull terrier) checks his mail on Bear's computer, and our girl sub works to remake the bed after a very interesting threesome this afternoon. My husband will be sorry he missed the action. I think therefore that certain combinations and poses should be replicated for his viewing pleasure this weekend. At least. (grin) I've wanted a quad for years and years, and I have it now, and I am all ecstatic and glowy, and not just because he's very devoted to service. (wink) This is lovely and happy.

KneelforAnne -> RE: june roll call (6/1/2009 9:01:01 PM)

School is out! It does not get much better. :)

I am planning a few trips this summer-- my first trip to NYC--it's gonna be cool....

I am also planning on attending Cali's birthday in Ft. Myers... by all accounts it should be an awesome time, I'm so excited!

Best to everyone~

**Edited because ending each sentence with an "!" is annoying**

Just about...I'm always 'done' when grades are posted...a day or two more. And then the big stuff...really. No more excuses, no more life getting in the way...other then maybe a sexy domme along the way...and even that is becoming a real possibility...

But my writing. My screenwriting. I moved. I'm settled. School is over. It's time. And I'll never be fully ready for what is coming, but it's about time I find out how far I can take this...

And to anyone who has noticed my 'can't get a coffee date' posts...it still hasn't happened; however the one domme on here I've wanted to meet the moment I found her profile on CM has been chatting with me and just arrived in LA a couple of days ago. And looks like I've got a shot since she (gulp...really...wow) saw a couple of pictures of me (ahem) and called me a hottie. Wild. Me? No trust me, she's the one that is stunning. This is from the one woman I so very much want to meet. I don't want to get my hopes up, but just maybe this summer is going to be one of big changes.

The screenplay, the story, why I started this journey more then a decade ago and this woman, if she wants to be the one - to show me this bdsm world - she could do it. She even loves newbies she said to teach them her way, loves older sub women and she's nice. Genuinely. We match on the important stuff. So we'll see. Could be a lot of fun.

June here I am...let's go...

saw divorce and then saw 'abstinence' instead of absinthe.

seems to be a theme with me at the moment [:D]

OttersSwim -> RE: june roll call (6/2/2009 7:15:29 AM)

I am never sure if this roll call topic should be just for the Ladies, or if the male subs that haunt this forum can chime in too...

So if I am in the wrong place, shoo me out!

June has started wonderfully for my Lady and I.  This past weekend, we went camping in Wyoming again - our second trip.  We have a wonderful secluded spot on a hill.  We ate lamb, drank wine, did nails by the campfire, and had spanks on "the rock", picked wild sage and flowers and made sage bundles to dry and burn as incense.  Saturday we took a 100 mile loop through parts of the Medicine Bow National Forest.  My Lady had vacation last week and we did two days of intense cleaning and organizing work in my shop.  Our garden at my house, and the "plant patio" at her's are doing splendidly and we are already anticipating the bounty of fresh herbs and veggies we will have!

June 25th is her birthday...and I have been working hard on procuring her a present.

Tonight I go to draw from life! [;)]

I'm, with you on that much not loved theme of abstinence; it is so not my 'cup of tea' (Though, I'd rather refrain than go against what is right for me in terms of partaking).
Anyway, divorce hearing is over.  Uneventful.  The hearing took about as long as our wedding ceremony.
No absinthe as my people who came along (Wonderful to have a couple of one's nearest and dearest there) had to go after some therapeutic shopping and lunch but that bottle's goin' down soon, that's for sure!
Sending good wishes to you KMsangel on the abstinence and the month as a whole and good wishes to everyone,
  Davan
