His agent stated he believes it was "accidental".

Lashra -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 7:49:09 AM)

It is very sad. I used to love to watch his show "Kung Fu" back in the day and I liked the "Kill Bill" movies. He always seemed like such a mellow, lovable kind of person. But you can never tell what a person is really like from tv. He must have been having some real troubles to have committed suicide.

Unless he was into solo breath play......I am not sure how they could say that......

GreedyTop -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 7:52:48 AM)

Sad.

DavanKael -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 7:53:12 AM)

I met him once at a convention and found his energy and bearing to be off-putting but I enjoyed a some of the shows/movies that he was in.

Wow. In the Kill Bill movies, and many other movies, he had a mellowness about himself. Thought it was more than an act.

What a sad way to go.

Me too... it is hard to envision someone feeling suicidal if they are about to start a new project...but you never know.

rikigrl -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 8:01:02 AM)

[color=#cc33ff size=2]he embodied the true spirit of the martial arts, the inner peace (which is not negated by killing oneself), and the use of skills in defense of self or others....and not as a form of retribution as displayed by the likes of Chuck Norris

SteelofUtah -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 8:14:12 AM)

My Heros are Dropping like flies.

Odd Daven I too met David Carradine and found him to be very uninterested in what was going on around him. He took long pauses to answer a question and his answers were usually somewhat vague. I spent three says at the Convention where he was signing autographs and things and the whole time he was there it was like the lonliest man in a room full of people.

It is sad that he is gone.

I am sorry to see people I looked up to going at such an alarming rate, I put this right up with Phil Hartman whose death truely shocked me and will be missed by me for a long time to come.

Hero's in the entertainment business? Object of lust, or aquaintances maybe...but a scary place to look for heros.

MsFlutter -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 9:13:00 AM)

he 'accidentally' hung himself with the cord from the drapery?

LaTigresse -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 9:18:36 AM)

I am not quite sure how a grown man could do that.

slutslave4u -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 9:20:28 AM)

"Thai police have told reporters that a hotel maid discovered Carradine's body in a wardrobe with rope around his neck and other parts of his body. "

part of the article already posted here. Perhaps was solo breath play involved after all

GreedyTop -> RE: R.I.P. David Carradine (6/4/2009 9:22:33 AM)
