I find that most of the unwanted ones come from the younger men.. but pleany from older men too.

Sometimes it just seems like 100.... like today, when I got (amongst others) a 3 Wank fantasy some bozo sent "for my enjoyment", ugh.

i've never gotten 100 a day, but i have gotten like 15 to 20 a day from different Doms when i was new, and then repeat letters from some in the same day. Some of those were letters i'd care to answer, some were the "on your knees bitch" variety, and some were from 1000s of miles away.....kinda silly when i was asking for real time in my geographical area. The Senders ranged from early 20s to mid-60s in age. Then when i wasn't new on the site the number plummeted considerably. Even though i openly say i'm owned & collared, i still get some letters from Doms now & then.

nope because that means i'd have to write too many darned replies and who has the time?

i have taken pains to make my profile very specific and eliminated a lot of would be suitors. i don't see the numbers as impressive, and they really can be misleading. getting tons of messages means little if you're still alone or searching. but some need to glorify in their supposed popularity. as with all things it is about the quality and not the quantity.

i found my numbers dropped significantly once i applied an age restriction.

I'm sure it happens to some occasionally.

As far as whether it should dissuade you from finding someone...if you think what you have to offer is equivalent to what the rest of the suitors are advertising, then you will have a problem, yes (although no different a problem than what you will encounter finding someone through most other means).

As an experiment, I recently created an alternative profile. I listed Myself as single. Used a real picture of Me. In the first two days, I did receive over 100 messages and that was with My clothes on. I can only imagine what would have come in the mailbox if I would have put up certain shots that I have.

I do not receive 100 messages a day under this profile. I get twenty on a slow day and up to forty on a good day. Considering that I'm married, forty, and overweight, I can only imagine what a young, hot, submissive female might receive.

I don't get anywhere close to 100 posts per day. In fact I probably haven't received 100 posts since I have been a member of collarme.com. However, I don't have a photo posted, and my profile suggests that I might be looking for more than kinky sex.... Or maybe I'm just a loser. *smiles*

I was getting that many my first fewmonths on the site...then it went down to 70-80, 50-60, then 30-40...now I'm getting about 10 per day. 99% are either do me's, cut and paste jobs, or "hi". Once in awhile I will get a nice,interesting email and I will do my best to respond.

i get so far about 30 total... i want a local boy to beat on.. most of mine are out of towners who say they come up 3 or so times a year.. imo they want a out of townie to hide it from fam and don't wanna pay a pro..lol

I have just seen your profile and you do really seem to have it together in fact I would almost say you are exactly what I am looking for except that I am looking for a girl younger than me (I'm kinda old fashioned that way - ideally the girl should always be slightly shorter and younger than the guy).

I am sure there are some guys out there who will love to collar such a responsible and intelleigent and sexy girl like you.

Anyways, back on topic, slightly, as a male Dom I tend to get a couple of messages every day. Some of those are responding to messages I have sent out previously. I would say on average, at least half of the random or responding messages I get, are obviously from fakers in that they have obviously not bothered to read either my extensive profile or message I sent (my messages are never simple one or two sentence affairs).

Again, as I say on almost every thread I get involved in, having some type of verification process would be a great way to cut back on these fakers as they woul be more likely to move onto another site.

I am just surprised that anyone would bother counting and keeping track of the numbers.......

I like to keep m boxes tidy. I have my mail set up so that all the pink and red go into one box and all the blue into another. I check the pink and red box every time I log in, and the blue box at least once a day. I've met too many people I enjoy on this site to want to ignore their emails. Regardless of gender or anything else.

Yes they might but more get less than that. I used to get what I considered "tons" about 10-15 a day. And that was when I was not showing anything except jeans and a long sleeve shirt. I think it depends -if you put up those kinds of pics or have a suggestive profile then you are looking for attention. Congrats you got it-happy now??
But Doms can be dolts. Even after putting up "Friends Only" and I have kept that poem/label of being owned on my front profile, Doms would STILL write. Heck even now, I still get mails and our profile was changed almost 10 months ago to couple-go figure. There are errors are on both sides of the profile, IMO, so each get half of the blame. Nah. I've gotten maybe 100 total in the 4 years that I've been here, and well over half of those have been from female friends chatting about something other than this. But, I also don't have a photo posted or lots of sexy talk in mine, either, and am not looking to attract 100's of emails a day.

Used to when I had a photo on alt.com. The men weren't that interested in my dominant personality though lol. It varies on here, depending on how often I am on and how much viewing profiles I do.
My advice, if you want attention, is to open a shop and call it 'She wears black clothes' lol. That's what I did. But then who wants loads of submissive men coming in when they don't buy anything?
