I'm content just to smell clean and not drive people away.

So I shouldn't get rid of my Warm Vanilla Sugar body wash?  I was in ECSTASY yesterday at Bath & Body, they had the summer sale with the scents I LIKE.   It was worth trudging around the mall with a heavy ass bag.  [:D]

No! Is good to smell like cookies! Nom nom nom nom nom.[8D]

STOP IT!!!!!!!

I can't focus!!!!!!!

mmmm take a deep breath lookie--close your eyes, hear the crackle of the fireplace, feel her long red nails trace patterns across your naked skin and smell deeply a scent you will never ever forget and hurt to remember.

That...

is the Scent of a Domina.

I love oil's.  I had one called uninhibited and omg... the men loved that one, but they stopped making it. I miss it so!  Then there was a midnight musk made by bonnie bell... another omg... that they stopped making!  Vanilla is something I wear once in a while.

Many like my Lady Stetson and gardenia's, Chloe' and Ciera, but I can't wear them as often.

I've been known to put a lil scent on something they can take with them during the day or on a note or two.

As for where to find it... well... that can be an exploration and I would hate to leave any hint's!

I find it all on ebay!

LOL... now that will totally mess the dude up! Maybe a few other's too! [:D]

PeonForHer -> RE: The Scent of a Woman (6/10/2009 7:03:32 PM)

Actually, it was a good image.  Wow.  Cat should cook up a scent called Domina and market it with that scene as a commercial.

Long red nails and fireplace.  Nice.  Wisp of hair would be good too.

I've just realised, though, that this thread is about as exclusively female as I've seen on CM.  Hmmm.  [;)]

She smiles, that scene is a real one, used a few times by Me and separated the ahem boys from the men. [8D]

If I die tonight because I had to take 2 extra sleeping pills....I'm leaving a last will and testament codicil to my attorney to have them come personally after you.

SolangeRichards -> RE: The Scent of a Woman (6/10/2009 7:15:52 PM)

There's actually a great site, called basenotes, where all things stinkwater are examined, endlessly....

Good site, who don't want to smell good?

Opium, Cinnabar..perfect ...

NihilusZero -> RE: The Scent of a Woman (6/10/2009 7:24:55 PM)

HooooAHH!

...wait...

*looks around*

This thread has nothing to do with Al Pacino, does it?

Lockit -> RE: The Scent of a Woman (6/10/2009 7:30:48 PM)

Mentioning Al Pacino at this time of night is just not fair!  [sm=fingers.gif]

I wear my fragrance in my hair (saves on drycleaning) and my body heat 'activates' it.

note: when the local stores no longer carry fragrances I like, I can usually get them on Beauty Encounter or PerfumeEmporium

MsFlutter..thanks soooooo much for posting these two links..

i am so happy at the moment.. i could nearly cry.. found a perfume on the site.. that i wore.. way back in 1986..and loved it.. but had forgotten even the name over the years... and there it is.. i don't  think they even sell it anywhere local... but i am SURE gonna order a bottle asap!..
The last time i owned this.. it had been a gift from my mother.. whom is no longer alive..so..this means so much to me. i will be thinking of it..as a gift from her once more.

again.. thanks soo much Ma'am!

AlexandraLynch -> RE: The Scent of a Woman (6/10/2009 9:34:58 PM)

Obsession.

And I wash my hair with vanilla-scented products.

Venatrix -> RE: The Scent of a Woman (6/10/2009 10:03:58 PM)

I have "commitment issues," so my scent varies.  I tend to go for citrus-y scents, like L'Occitane's Verbena, green scents like Balmain's Vent Vert, but I still love, after all these years, Guerlain's Samsara.  Just depends on my mood.  I was recently given a massive bottle of "Gem" by Van Cleef and Arpels, which I quite like, too.  Just as well, given how large the bottle is.  What if I'd hated it?  It's not like you can use it up in cooking, like cheap booze.

Lashra -> RE: The Scent of a Woman (6/10/2009 10:23:27 PM)

"Envy Me" by Gucci for everyday or Bvlgari for women when I feel like seducing him.

subfever -> RE: The Scent of a Woman (6/10/2009 10:30:35 PM)

If a woman is clean, healthy, and addiction-free... I'd prefer to smell her.

But thanks for the effort anyway, Ladies. It's the thought that counts.
