Mm.  I've completely fallen in love with Black Phoenix Alchemy Labs' perfume oils.  Good stuff, but way too pricey for me to wear as often as I like.

My current favorites:
"Whip" - big wet roses and black leather.  I always wear this when I scene with my boy, and sometimes just to feel sexy.
"Bliss" - pure fudge brownie.  Excellent pick-me-up.
"The Rose" - Blooming, fresh cut rose, with sap and earth and everything.  My signature.
"Miskatonic University" - Old books, oakwood, and Irish coffee.  Mostly coffee.  I dab this on my boy from time to time, and on myself when I'm lounging around the house.

I guess it depends on who you are wearing the fragrance for. I have seen several studies that indicate the fragrances most preferred by men are cinnamon, vanilla, lavender and Frankincense. Any perfume that has those scents would be a top choice.

If someone really loved me, they would fetch this, for me:

Habanita, by Molinard, is a one-of-a-kind scent I have loved.  It smells sensual, edible, inviting.  It inspires gently biting someone's skin.

*Don't be fooled by the top notes, as it's not a fruity scent.

"A rich floral-oriental parfum with fruity top notes of bergamot, orange flower and peach, floral heart notes of rose, jasmine de Grasse and ylang-ylang on base notes of sandalwood, vanilla, oak moss, vetiver, ambergris and leather, classified F1f."

It even has the most beautiful flacon designed by Lalique, the black crystal bottle with a frieze of nudes encircling it, and a gold cap.  I ran out some time ago.  I recently discovered that Molinard, for some reason, had "reformulated" the scent, in recent years.  The scent was created in 1921, and I can't find any explanation as to why they changed it.  Reviews of the scent in its new form sounded disheartening.

I wondered how I could find or get reproduced, the scent in the form I originally loved, ~ and just as quickly as I asked it, I discovered that Molinard had done a special reissue of several of their classic scents!

That first link above, is to Habanita, reissued in its classic formula.  VoilĂ !

Now, if I could just afford it!
