Panda, seeing that i believe the only reason this OP posted this thread was to somehow validate his own ideas about cops and his continuous generalization of same, its completely relevant. To bad he doesn't have the same drive to out all of the citizens who commit crimes and the same zeal to want them to PAY for their crimes, if he and others like him did -- we probably wouldn't need so many cops. To bad he doesn't hold citizens who commit crimes to the same concept of responsibility, perhaps if he did -- i would give him his props about his ideas about bad cops, but he would rather pat criminals on the head and make all cops bad than make people who commit crimes responsible for their actions. Didn't you know committing a crime is okay as long as its not a VIOLENT one, even though non-violent crimes usually have victims (just to clarify for the op --- victims aren't the ones committing the crimes) but those victims aren't really victims didn't you know? However, i have seen what people DO to other people both non-violent and violent way to much to excuse them as he does. When i advocate cops it doesn't mean i advocate BAD cops. However, the OP generalizes alll cops which to me is what puts ALL cops in danger and ya know what, that is why so many cops are hurt in the line of duty -- but i guess that's oh well. . angel
