Never assume when you move in a house with older appliance that the stove has a pilet light.

It doesnt help when your not thinking and the gas has built up in the ancient oven and you stupidly light a match and get a ball of fire hit all exposed parts in its way.

No eyelasheds, no eyebrows, burnt hair and  nasty burns on your arms.

LSD after red vermouth.  Dumber than daring.

Going into a house you KNOW is haunted from other independent sources after you've been through one of the worst heartbreaks in 25 years.  Just dumb, not daring.

Pissing off a Merchant Marine whom you later found out was a member of the Polish Secret Police before the fall of Communism.

Get into an argument with your s/o, get raging mad, head out to a bar, get falling down drunk, pick a fight with the biggest, baddest mo-fo bouncer there, yeah the 6'4" 250 lineman from the local college football team.

Spend the early hours of the morning in the ER and the next day sobering up in the drunk tank. Call your s/o and ask to be bailed out, have her serve you the divorce papers while in jail.

Wow!  You get the prize!

Not an actual total event, based on the lives of various customers at the store.

Going into a house that's not only haunted, but also condemned, falling apart, and infested with bats. Did I mention this was also after midnight way out in the county with only two crappy dollar store flashlights, a fair chance of meeting wild animals and/or armed squatters, and there is no cell phone reception out there. I don't for the life of me know why this seemed like a good idea at the time.
That's also the night that my best friend started calling me "The Necromancer," but that's an unrelated stupid story.

"two crappy dollar store flashlights"

See, that's the part that gets me, right there...

going in with those is like showing up to a munch in a $10 Elvira Halloween outfit with a $3.50 K-mart whip you see at Rocky Horror.

Ack women, tempt men to paddle ya all ya like, but don't tempts da Dead!  LOL

I actually had a very nice big camping flashlight, but unfortunately no batteries for it and it was two days before payday so no cash to buy batteries. There was a group of us going out there, and the one who volunteered to bring the flashlights brought crappy ones. That was a very weird night.

I would tell you but we'd be here for DAYS AND DAYS, ON END.  And two of the events involve violence against others, which was at the moment quite satisfying, but getting grounded for assualt was not.

So what are some think you do without thinking and it dawn on you that it was just was so the wrong thing to do.

After hearing about MoGa and my own broken foot here is what comes to my mind

Never tuck your leg under you when sitting, then trying to get up to think you can walk
Totally asleep and dead feet just flat dont work...its a guarantee you will go down hard, causing injury to said foot by breaking it or at the vey least leaving you with a bag sprain.

Ok, I got one. And it's really stupid, but we were grocery shopping and I went to the deli isle to get a sammy and then I saw a huge 24 pack of soda's and I was like oh, get those for daddy* ageplay not real daddy* be really helpful and he'll appreciate it, and the fuckers were really heavy, and I almost dropped them, and I had to hold them and carry t hem all over the place till he found me in the fruit isle contimplating how to hold the damn package os soda, a deli sandwhich, and check out the fruit.

And yes I am a weakling, and yes 24 soda's is to heavy for me to lift or haul for real. My 65 pound dog is to heavy for me to lift too, all though there ya kind of got an excuse her being a life creature that is or is not struggling against you picking her up.

I remember way back when, my one attempt at modesty, I had a bed sheet  wrapped around me  I was in the livingroom, with my parents, stood up the bed sheet came down an my mom was like CHRIS ! and I tripped over it  either t or got my ankle caught on the chair leg, and sprained my ankle pretty badly and that was right before a sleep over at a friends house, I spent the whole sleep over with an ankle that hurt like a mother fucker, and was not very happy.

Never stand up and try to run to the door with a blanket wrapped around your legs
It was like a shiny stuffed burrito tipping over onto the carpet

Topping, never never go to the store before you eat, you will want to get everything. If your full most thinks arent so tempting.

Btw that is a obvious thing never to do.

Savage, sometimes getting to the store hungry just can't be helped, but I agree Hell yes, don't go when you're hungry. It's pure torture.

I have found it has made a huge difference in the total at checkout. So I always try to take any hunger pains away even if its just eating some fruit or a healthy snack or something.

For me I can  usally not impulse buy because I have gone s hopping when hungry, but that ache in the pit of your stomach getting bigger and bigger, and more and more  DEMANDING, till it's finally just a constant scream HUNGRY HUNGRY FEED ME, in the forfront of your mind, not enjoyable, not at all.

And if you don't impulse buy  We go out to eat lunch after grocery shopping, and it's always fast food, sometimes it's healthier ff that others but always still fast food. If we come home to eat I am so desperate and hungry I will eat just about anything and I will OVER eat. Like two packages of crackers, slathered in baked beans from a can.

It's never good to let yourself get so hungry you're desperate, and I can be my own worst enemy  in terms of that.

And yup a small snack, even if you buy it at the grocery store like a granola bar and a water, will help tide you over so you are not desperately hungry.
