ORIGINAL: yourdarkdesire I am thinking that women who have never had children - or who chose (for what ever reason) not to breastfeed, and men in general, have absolutely no right to be posting their opinions on this subject. Between my two children I spent 30 months breastfeeding. Was I going to stay at home for that long? NO! Was I discreet? YES! There are lots of "nursing shirts" available with overlapping layers or zippers to make the breast accessable yet not visible. I also used a nursing blanket. To this day, walking through the mall or park, seeing a Mom nursing her baby, always puts a smile on my face. She is doing what she was created for. The bond that nursing creates between mother and child cannot be replaced by a bottle. My children are extremely loving and affectionate - not to mention friends. Agreed. Although I very much liked Marc's post. People just get too weirded out by nudity and I seriously do blame it on patriarchal religioun.
