ORIGINAL: Asherdelampyr As far as concerns about being stolen from or something like that, there are precautions that can be taken, namely, keep your eye on your purse, just like when you do anything else Yes, but one question: If you could choose when to be 'attacked'.....not 'if' you will be, but when (just come along with me for a moment). Someone says to you "you're going to be attacked and forced to defend yourself and your loved ones"......would you rather that moment come when you are nursing, highly vulnerable and away from potential support? Or would you prefer to have all limbs available to fight, flee, or whatever? No one thinks like this until it's too late. Yes, it is a bit paranoid. But the issue in today's world isn't if you're paranoid, it's if you're paranoid ENOUGH. Bad shit happens daily and it gets worse with the same frequency. For some people it's not 'if' they will have something bad happen, but WHEN. And speaking strictly for me and mine....I'd rather a significant other of mine not be in the most vulnerable position she or my UM could be in if and when something like that happens.
