[if you look at the statistics, the only country that everyone should be worried about is CHINA. If you look at the ratio of their military and ours, we are so outnumbered!

And just how do they get here? China hasn't even the shadow of a blue water navy. They haven't even been able to deal with the "Province in Rebellion" in almost half a century and that border is within artillery range of the mainland.

oops had to edit cause read that wrong..my apologies. However, indecisveness and delay are not really a good thing to have in the oval office.

Sometimes the responsibility of being a super power isn't all that grand.

We try to stay out of issues and leave it to other countrys and we get dumped on by other countrys and our own people for not helping or doing something.

We step up to the plate and do something, and we get dumped on by our own people and other countrys.

Such is life

as i don't follow history, i cannot say for sure that those were started by women or not, as far as i know, more wars were started by men than women...that may be just about 2% of all wars...maybe...not sure.

MistressJenny270 -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 9:29:24 PM)

No offense sir, but who says they are faking it. I know I am on this site, but I am also a firm believer in the Bible, and I am not wanting to bring religion into this. But, just as my opinion as I do have a right to state it, the book of Revelations tells of the future, right? I interpret it to say that CHINA is going to be this world's biggest ally or their biggest enemy. It is merely up to the individual countries to decide which path they want to take. Ally or Enemy?

MistressJenny270 -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 9:32:07 PM)

We try to mind our own business, that's true. But to truely say that we are a strong country is to put our foot down and mind our own business. We are suppose to be what they call a "Super Power"? Why the hell aren't we acting like and stop letting other countries bully us into doing someone else's dirty work?

michaelGA -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 9:35:50 PM)

let's utilize "The Prime Directive" i.e. non-interference...and, if others want to test as as a "Super Power", let's just bomb them and get it over with

starshineowned -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 9:42:19 PM)

Because Ma'am we are the only country big enough, strong enough, financially stable enough and a whole host of other "enoughs".

Hopefully though down the road as China further develops its democracy..we will be lucky enough to have someone to share the burden.

There just at present is no other country capable of accomplishing what the US can, and surive it.

Pretty much every country in the world has evolved and came to be due to wars. Be it dictators, kingdoms, monarchys..no gender base required to start a war.

MistressJenny270 -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 9:48:30 PM)

But why start a war in the first place?

michaelGA -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 9:48:48 PM)

financially stable enough

with our deficit???? you've got to be kidding me...America should file bankruptcy...we aren't financially stable by a long shot...wars cost money....helping other countries cost money...we really can't afford this war or any other for that matter

hell, we can't even help our own people...too many people living on the streets, dying in hospitals due to poor health care and crime running rampant...don't you think we should get our own house in order before trying to change the rest of the world?????

If you listen to the Iranians..they are chanting pretty much the same thing but they aren't making a joke about it.

Nothing would please me more actually then to be able to back away and not be involved. Real strong stance there that Russia, France, Germany's made with them though. Whats the IAEA going to do? More sanctions? 10yrs worth? And when they nuke Isreal? The mentality of people there is they have no problem with blowing their own selves up to kill others. In America people that do that we deem sick, insane, crazy, whatever and should be locked up if caught before the act.

I was always told that you need to clean out from under your own doorstep before you try to clean out from under someone else's.

MistressJenny270 -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 9:56:17 PM)

I say it's simple. Pull the hell out of Iraq, return home and let them do whatever the hell it is they want to do. If they want to blow themselves up, then let them. Just keep them the hell away from the United States!

i wasn't joking...if we just made it publically known that we instigate a "Zero Tolerence" policy (translation: mess with us and we bomb you...not warning or questions) who would really test that...especially if we recalled our troops and launch against them...???

MistressJenny270 -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 9:59:55 PM)

I guess you do have a point. But then again, what about CHINA?

michaelGA -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 10:02:16 PM)

i don't believe China would bother us as long as we left them alone...they're smarter than that, we should follow their example

MistressJenny270 -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 10:08:05 PM)

That's what I am talking about. We are suppose to be the "Super Power", well hell, CHINA is acting like the "Super Power". They are staying the hell out of everyone else's business and taking care of their own the best way they know how. It doesn't matter that people "think" they don't have a navy, air force, ground troops, etc. CHINA is much smarter and more kinieving than anyone gives them credit for.

michaelGA -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 10:11:13 PM)

true, Ma'am

MistressJenny270 -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 10:18:52 PM)

I guess I am just passionate about taking care of your own before you take care of someone else.

michaelGA -> RE: War on Terrorism (2/12/2006 10:26:02 PM)

as am i, Ma'am...unfortunately those " patriotic" Americans don't feel the same...i, for one, am not patriotic...i don't get all broken up of the flag, the anthem or the bald eagle...these things are symbols and (like George Carlin) i leave symbols to the symbol-minded.

Just like I said once before, women tend to think more and analyze the situation when men act irrationally.

OK, let's look at the recent women leaders.

Golda Meir... 1973 Yom Kippur War
Margaret Thatcher ... Falklands War
Indira Gandi ... East Pakistan War
Chandrika Kumaratunga... Tamil Tiger insurrectioin

There are plenty of Rambos with overies.

G'day John,

I think you will find the correct term is "Rambina" or "Rambinae"

Rambo (M)
Rambina (F S)
Rambinae (F Pl)
