What I don't get is the complete regard to some protocal in speaking in.. this girl stuff... without protocal or social grace and respect all the way around. To give the appearance of polite submissive and then speak with passive aggessive and then victim protocal of the wounded in life... is a fruitless effort to appear anything but what we saw it as. Passive aggressive youth spouting off.

It's the lack of respect I find as the problem.. that and the passive aggressive. it's better to grow a back bone and say it up front..

I often go to the animal kingdom to discribe d/s to people wondering about what I live. I have had some female dogs that were queen bitch and there was no doubt about it. The males ran circles around these two and followed. They were in my home at different times, but each ran the doggie world with me queen bitch. If it got passed me and then her, it was all good. I know a couple of the males could have eaten them as one was very small, but no... those bitches were top dog. I have seen um's that from birth seemed to have that certain thing that made them dominant. They had a will that was head strong and needed tempering, yet they tried very hard to run the show. Then I have seen very submissive types... very sweet and content to follow. If the op really wants to learn, I would suggest looking at the animal kingdom and um's. It may be true that there are more males in every area that are dominant, but there are many dominant's that are female in animals, for which humans are. I would also encourage her to sit back and watch some of the domina's around here. She might see more clearly if she does.

Great advice as usual Lockit. I couldn't agree more about some uhms being leaders from birth. None of us disagree that many men are born dominant, but more importantly, most men are socialized to be dominant... None of that precludes the fact that many women are born dominant, or socialized to be that way. When I read the OP, I just laugh, and think she/he has got to be kidding. I feel that society is much kinder to women who behave submissively; at least in my vernacular it is... Given that, what woman would want to "act" dominant, rather than take the path of least resistance? M

You have the right to your opinion, but it is yours not everyone else's--your post would have been better received had you used phrases like: " i feel", i believe", "i am this way because i..." instead of putting forth some scientific conclusion. Its like saying because people are Christians, they are all good, honest and upright and we all know how true that is.[8\|] Hasty generalizations and forced commonalities lead to nothing but closed ears. If that's what you and Master believe, knock your socks off, however, if you are going to live in the real world, accept that other's may not buy your concepts.
