I find the sorrow for him a bit strange. Personally, I believe he is far better off without people in general after the way he has been treated. I feel sorrow for me - because it's a loss of part of my history. As an icon, he will always suffer people who are iconoclasts - I don't really take much notice of such antics to let them touch me in a negative way - it's only fear that makes people get all caught up in iconoclasm - sometimes envy. I was going to avoid posting, because it's a pretty embaressing thread on the whole and it's definately made me question other peoples motives and my own integrity and the relationships and respect I have with others. However, occurances like the passing of Jackson are great spring cleaning days... days of epiphany - The reality is, there is no act that is more evil than another, regardless what people want to believe about hurting another. Thank you for this wonderful post, is this Darcy? [;)] You have stepped up in great form Darcy. I am actually not surprised at the responses from many on this thread, not even a little bit. But it can't bring those of us that love and adore MJ, down. We should be too busy celebrating, the MJ parties are just starting and will last until we are dancing on our walkers, and in our wheelchairs. [:D] I am sending you and .thedark many huggles from across the pond. I fucking adore you two, between you and .the dark, and Stella I am going to have to cross the pond. M.J. had stated that his last public tour would be London, how fitting. Many Brits appear to love Michael, and his shows were already sold out. I am feeling and seeing a lot of love from the UK, and all over the world for the greatest entertainer. [:D] One love Darcy and .the dark You are a class act, as always. But then, not responding - well - that would deny me the right of voicing my - hmmmmm.... regret is the wrong word because I believe his passing is pretty much a positive thing for his timeline - and sorrows the wrong word... loss doesn't cover it because he has been pretty silent for the past 10 years more. I believe that, more than anyone else in a cultural sense, Jackson has highlighted just how evil and malicious people can be and has put under the spotlight just how flawed humanity really is - and just how unhappy - this thread being a fine example. And I think that is what touches me the most about his death. Michael Jackson 1958 - 2009 [/quote]
