I don't know if he was a horrible person, I don't know that he was a pedophile. I couldn't care the least if he had surgery or didn't, that is his business. What I do know is that I really enjoyed most of his music, I grew up with "Thriller", I even remember when the lil 45 came out, though I was pretty young. I know he was a huge part of my musical life since I can remember, and I know that he will be missed by me and by millions of others. I know that no matter what others thought of him, he was a dad, a son, a brother, and a friend to many. I hope that no matter what he did in this life, that somehow now he has found peace since it seemed to have eluded him while still on this earth. The three deaths this week have made me think a lot, this one most of all. You just never know when it's your last day..makes all of those petty disputes with people seem dang silly. RIP MJ

If I had been on the jury, I would be able to say with more certainty, but I wasn't.

As a parent...you just don't take that chance. You just don't expose your child to anyone who you get that "creepy" vibe from. Michael Jackson definitely had that creepy vibe. Edited to add....he may have been the most innocent and pure person on this planet...but he gave off that weird vibe. I would never take a chance with my child.

I liked the Jackson 5 and later Michael's music. Was he a pedophile only one person knows. No matter whom you talk to or talk about not everybody is going to like somebody. Why didn't the people who worked for him like him? Did anybody ever say?

i'd be willing to say that mj's family will miss him greatly. i think (from what i've seen and read) his father played a big part in making him feel insecure and worthless except for his musical talent, and forced him out of his childhood and into being a perfomer from an early age. i think (from the viewpoint of an outsider who did not know him personally) he made some terrible choices in sharing a bed and a closed bedroom with children. what may or may not have happened behind that closed door i do not know, but it looks bad. i think he was very talented, and his money allowed him to do some foolish and odd-from-the-outsider's-viewpoint things. sleeping in an oxygen chamber? a wee bit out there, but hey, he could afford it. if he gets peace now, great. his family will miss him, as will his fans. me? i think he was a bit off plumb, but i dont know any more than that. kitten

Ya know....I don't wanna be one of those Monday morning quarterbacks that's going to spend an inordinate amount of time figuring out whether or not he liked to play with little boys. He's dead....there'll be lot's of others who'll do that (you can watch it on easily 37 channels tomorrow morning)....all wanting their 15 minutes. He wrote some incredible music, he died very young, he had an awful youth with an awful father....no one knows his angst....and for now....his angst is over. Whatever I think of Michael....or whatever you think....he's gone through some shit that none of us will ever have to deal with...including certainly some press that wasn't accurate (and some that was). In the meantime....sleep well Michael....thanks for the great music.... Goodnight.

I was so sad when I heard he died....so were my UM's.....I dont believe for one minute that he molested anyone, I think that first kid was out for money, and MJ settled to save himself a long painful court battle.....one of the members of his legal team said he behaved like a child even when told of the charges, he did not act like an adult would in such a situation....I think many years later, that the second kid was smelling the first kids money....that time MJ took it to court to prove he was innocent, and HE WAS FOUND INNOCENT......my those boys have the mercy of God on their souls when its judgement day for them.....MJ may have been a little strange, but that does not make him a bad person, he was scared from his childhood, like so many, and who are we to judge what is normal or not anyway....esp us kinky folk, you know what they say about glass houses.....both those horrible little boys that accused him of things know the truth, and he helped them both, I bet they are both remorseful and sorry now......hopefully they are able to repent......RIP Michael....truly the King of Pop.....and a legend...... Edited to add that he had a hard life, and I am going to pray that he will finally find some peace now in death,,,,,,but how utterly sad that is what it took.....Michael, I pray to God you find your peace....
